Archie full name?

We just had a girl, but if we had a boy, we knew we wanted Archie. However we never figured out what the full name would be.

Does Archie require having a full(er) name? And if so, what's "acceptable"? Obviously we thought of Archibald (nms), Archer (too trendy?) and Archimedes (too out there?)

If we have a boy next, we will need to figure this one out!

Since you don't care for Archibald, I'd go with Archer. It's a bit trendy, but it is a solid name (as opposed to a trendy name like Zayden)

I had and uncle named Archie, with a full name Arthur.

In my family Archie is the full first name (there are currently four generations).

Archer is the safest of the options, but I have to be honest, I love the ballsier Archimedes.
