Sharp pain when I cough?!?!

I am currently six weeks as of today!! I have experienced a miscarriage before so with this sharp pain when I cough is freaking me out big time! It sometimes happens when I stand up from sitting quickly, I have read tons and I guess it's just not easing my mind any. I have not spotted or bleed so I know I shouldn't worry. My question is; have other people gone through this? If so, how long did you have this random pain for and when should I go in?

Totally normal. It's round ligament pain. Felt in both my pregnancies.

Edit to add it's going to last most of your pregnancy.

This was the way I knew this time I was pregnant. When I cough, sneeze or laugh hard I get these sharp pains in my side. Mine get worse towards the end when I try to roll over at night.

Yep, round ligament pain. It comes especially with sudden or jerking movements

When you cough or sneeze, bring your legs closer to your chest, it stops it from hurting.

I get it when I stand up quickly. It's sometimes so bad that it doubles me over. The pain only lasts for a couple seconds. I tried googling it this weekend, but wasn't able to find anything. Glad to see the answer and that it's normal!

Round ligament pain... I get them even not pregnant.

I get this too, coufh, sneeze, stand up fast. Very painful and scary. I had it with my son and now with this baby, I remember it lasting through most of my pregnancy.
