hi. im a first time mom and i gave birth 3 weeks ago. my husband will come home next week. do u think is it safe for us to make love? is it really safe? i didnt feel.any pain on my private part but i still have brown discharge this day. last few weeks its a blood that came out from me. then my husband keep on asking me if its safe for me to do it, but i really dont know the answer. is it possible that i will get pregnant coz i didnt us any birth control pills? thank u for ur answer. hoping some one will help me.

I was told to wait until my midwife says it's okay after my six week check up. Definitely use some form of birth control unless you are okay with getting pregnant again!

You can get an infection. You should wait until after your six week check.

Definitely wait for your appointment! Maybe try foreplay in the meantime

Wait till your 6 weeks appointment because outside may be healed but inside is,still recovering.

You're at risk for both infection and getting pregnant. Your body releases an egg before you start your first period after pregnancy, so definitely use BC if you choose to go ahead and have sex.
