I have a 3 day old baby girl. Is it normal for them to have vaginal discharge? No odor to it, or weird color. I have three older boys, so I have never had experience with this. Thanks in advance

The nurses at the hospital told me it was totally normal, just a side effect of all the overactive birth hormones. Should go away in a few days

Thank you! I figured it was normal but thought I would ask if anyone knew before calling the dr and asking them tomorrow.

She might have swollen breasts too.

Is it the thicker, white stuff on the sides? If so, then that's totally normal.

No, it was clear and coming out of the vagina. I had a weight check today, they said its discharge from my horemones.
