Red bumps on boys...

My son has been getting red little bumps on his scrotum. They keep coming and going. Sometimes his head area gets red and puffy. I keep him dry and apply destine with every change. Since it does come and go, do you think it's worth a trip to his doctor? Has any of your sons had this? Think it could be yeast?
