A little worried....

So my son got his 4 month vaccines on Monday. On Tuesday he woke up and had a small lump on his left leg. This is where he got 2 shots. I emailed the doctor and she told me it was normal and just to put a warm compress on it and I did but it still hasn't gone away. My son is acting normal and it doesn't hurt him but I wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this or has before!? I'm a first time mom so I don't know if this is normal especially since it didn't happen during his 2 month vaccination

    The same thing happened to one of my sons. I have twin boys and it only happened to one and only with the 4month vaccines. It has gone away, I think it lasted a few days. My aunt, who is a nurse, looked at it and said it was fine. She said as long as it isn't red or warm to the touch and isn't bothering him, it wasn't something to worry about.

    Yup. Both legs with every round of shots. But it hasn't slowed her down any!

    did your LO go alright after the shots? my DS last time was cranky n tired all day after the 2 month ones and am wondering what I'm in for

    We had that too :)

    For us 4 month was a little worse but still not awful

    My lo took this shots a lot better than the 2 month vaccinations. He was normal and laughing. Except he was sleepy and
    I also think his leg hurt a little but aside from that he was acting fine. After a day or two he was back to normal. Don't worry hopefully everything will be okay with your little one also! Praying for quick recovery and good luck mama! :smile:
