Mega maternity clothes score on FB

So, I'm big on 2nd hand shopping and joined my local "moms online tag sale" page on FB about a week ago or so.

Wouldn't you know that a mama in my size offered up her entire closet (60 plus items, you name it, it's there!) for $50. I snagged it and seriously do not need to shop, ever. The items are all brand new and clean! (I am rewashing now, because you never know..) Just sending this out to other mamas who don't mind buying used. Facebook was worth it. (Just be safe!)

I'm an FTM, so I have absolutely nothing and no money to spend on myself with the holidays coming up.

    I met up with 2 moms from a swap site today getting some maternity clothes and I thought I had scored getting 2 pants, a dress, 5 sweaters and 4 shirts for 60 bucks! Dang, girl!

    How do I find something like this local to me? And does anyone else have recs for buying maternity secondhand? I'm already on the heavy side so I actually don't think I'll need a new wardrobe, just a few pieces for the later months.

    @bedinabelinda On facebook I had searched for my county and "buy sell" and all of these private groups came up. I joined the mom ones (okay, and the ones in the ritzier towns too, haha.) and just watched what they were offering and finally got brave enough to jump in!

    I got a similar deal - love my facebook BST groups! Only awkward thing was it was listed by a friend of mine so I had to be like "uhhh so I need those clothes, please don't tell anyone?"

    Thanks for sharing! I'll have to check my local groups. I'm all about secondhand. I scour craigslist for free items for the house. I plan on doing a lot of second hand shopping for maternity clothes and baby items as well :)
