Very thankful today - HB doubled since last week!

After suffering a mc last spring, my dr had me get an early ultrasound at just shy of 7 wks (last thurs) - baby was measuring to size but the HB was only 80....after spending the last week expecting the worst, we went back today and it was 165!!!

Hoping this will encourage someone else who might get a low initial HB that it can turn out okay in the end.

I had a very similar experience. When I was 6 weeks 0 days the baby's heart rate was 84bpm. I freaked due to the low heart rate but the tech said the heart begins beating around that time and is expected to be low especially the first day or two of beginning to beat. I went back two weeks later today and am measuring on track at 8 weeks 0 days now. The Heart rate is a healthy 156bpm. I hope this reassures others who are also freaking out like we did Xo
