BFP surprise!

Hi all, I'm Becca, I am 27, been married almost 2 years and was planning on trying for a baby next year. Originally, I was going to start trying in September, but a lot of things happened in the last 6 months and we were going to push back another year. Hubby and I did the deed last month, 2 days after AF left (tmi). I was 5 days late this month and was absolutely sure i'd had a period since we were last intimate... Looked on my tracker app on Tuesday and realized I hadn't!!! But for everything I had read about fertility, it was so unlikely that I would be pregnant...?! Panic set in and I went right home after work and took a test... BIG FAT POSITIVE. That line showed up quick and strong, and I cried. It is the first time I have ever been pregnant, I wasn't sure how I felt about it. 2 days later, after the shock has settled, we have decided to keep it!! I am about 4 weeks, so not announcing it to anyone for quite some time, but I'm happy, even if the timing isn't perfect and it wasn't planned, we aren't in a bad place, we have good jobs and a comfortable life. So, if all goes well, I'll be due in July, anyone else?

Check the birth month boards (bmb) you're more likely to meet other people going through the same milestones as you. CONGRATS!

Congrats! I remember the SO and I finding out I was pregnant early this year. I actually thought that the tests were pulling my chains because I tested Positive, TWICE, on April first out of all months! Haha! But it was for real. A few weeks of crying, and I was ok.

That's great news, congratulations! We also conceived earlier than we were intended and I still have days of complete panic about how things are going to work -- but it's a very wanted baby even if life is a bit messy right now. Welcome!
