Over the weekend my DS1 (he's 4) woke my DH and I up at 6:30 am.
DS1: Mommy wake up!
Me: Why are you up so early?
DS1: Because it's morning.
Me: But why did you have to wake me up so early?
DS1: Because it's morning.
I laughed, rolled out of bed, gave him a hug, and fixed him breakfast.
I love toddler logic.

A day or two before Halloween my DS1 stated "my bones are my puzzle of my body."

My 2.5 year old tells us she needs to go to bed every time we are out after dark, which is much more now with the time change. It's pretty funny!

My almost 3 year old frustrates me hourly with her logic. There are so many things she says that crack me up but I can never remember them! One thing is, I try and have a little rest on the couch with my eyes closed, she says 'wake up mummy, it's daytime! We don't sleep in the day!' Says the girl who just got up from a two hour nap....

@kettlekitten My DS1 is the self imposed sleep police in our home too. I keep meaning to record all the funny things my kids say but then something always happens to distract me.

Anyone ever watch any of the Convos With My 2 Year Old?

@banfrog I often send funny little conversation snippets to my mum via text message and then take a screen shot so it gets saved with my photos, because I also have the best of intentions about writing things down and then get distracted...
And yes I've seen those videos - so funny!!
