Hello ladies, I have been lurking for a week, I was a member of this forum last month, but unfortunately had my second mmc at the end of October (9 weeks).
I am so scared that I will never get pregnant again or that I will go through a 3rd loss. I guess I am just asking for some success stories that can lift up my spirits as I start TTC again.
Wish you all the best of luck with your rainbows!

I'm so so sorry to hear that. I too suffered two miscarriages. One in April 2014 (5-6w) and then again this May (9w). I wasn't even sure I wanted to try to get pregnant again because I was sure a third loss would break me. We don't have a problem conceiving but apparently they had a problem sticking. We got our BFP two cycles after my d&c and fortunately... This one seems to like it in there. I'm 17 weeks tomorrow. It's heartbreaking and physically draining. Let yourself grieve. And know that it really might not happen to you again.
Nope, no baby aspirin. The only thing I did differently this time is cut waaay back on my coffee drinking. The dr wouldn't see me until 9 weeks. No blood work or anything more before that. It was an absolutely horrible wait but it seems to be worth it so far.
I didn't have multiple (known) losses, but I was 35 when I had my first and scared that I had waited too long to start trying and that it'd never happen for me. Because of that we did see a fertility specialist who ordered a test that used slides that the hospital saves from D&C's and we found out that we had lost that pregnancy to trisomy 13. Our doctor explained that, like most miscarriages, that's a genetic abnormality and not hereditary. He also found out that I had MTHFR and put me on folic acid, but that had nothing to do with my loss.
I got pregnant again and we did a cell free DNA test at 11 w. for peace of mind (which really helped) and we had a healthy baby girl in September.
I had 2 mcs before this pregnancy as well. I would definitely recommend asking for testing after multiple consecutive mc. After my 2nd i had blood tests w my reg ob and found that i have MTHFR. He was fairly certain that was the problem and it has been a simple fix that seems to be doing the trick. I honestly don't know if i would've had the courage to try again wout answers but i know everyone is different. It was just too simple for me, to possibly be able to avoid another heartache, not to do it.

I actually went to the first appointment convinced we would again get disappointing news, I was actually suprised when we saw a HB.
