Ugh parenting fails- posted in duplicate

My husband and I didn't secure the bottom of the boon bathtub and it collapsed mid bath. I'm pretty sure lo bumped his head as a result. We called the dr and she says he is ok but we feel terrible. What the hell is wrong with us? I'm so so upset and can't get over it :( just needed to share/vent

    Try not to beat yourself up. I don't think any of us want to really admit we've already messed up in some way, shape or form, but I GUARANTEE you we all have! I was so sleep deprived last Friday I almost went into the coffee shop without baby... It took me a few yards to realize he was still in the car. I got death glared all the way into the shop after I got the car seat out by a woman sitting in her car... Not my finest moment.

    My toddler climbed out of his crib on Friday and broke his elbow. Now he is in a cast for 4-6 weeks. I feel absolutely terrible!! He seems to have adjusted fine. He's playing and happy as if nothing happened. For my husband and I, we just feel so bad! Now it's very hard caring for an infant and toddler with a broken arm! Ugh.
