Bleeding question

2weeks and 2 days postpartum and my blood was red at first and heavy changed to a brownish color and got lighter and now is a darker red/brown color and more heavier than it was the past couple of days. Is this normal? Also when I blow my nose it feels like something is going to come out like a clot or something but nothing does(sorry if that's tmi)

My doctor said it could come and go and turn brown then red again. She said any variation was normal for six weeks, and not to worry unless I passed a clot larger than an apricot. That being said, call your doctor if you are concerned.

I stopped bleeding around 5-6 days and then it came back at 2 weeks and I bled on and off for another 1.5-2 weeks. Unless it's heavy I don't think you need to worry.

I just posted about this very same thing I'm 4 weeks pp and could have gotten my period. I wasn't sure if it was pp bleeding or my period but it's gone again. I'm hoping it's just pp bleeding I'm not ready to get my period back!

I bled heavier for the first 5 days or so and then it began to taper off. But then week 2 hit and I was bleeding bright red again and a bit heavier. I was worried I was soing to much but it was worse on days when I did leas. Then I read that can happen during week 2. Now at week 3, it is almost completely stopped. Just some yellow discharge.

I was JUST about to post a similar question. LO was born 10/14. I had heavy bleeding for about a week which slowly tapered off until there was a slight discharge for the last 2 weeks. Then 2 days ago, I started bleeding again, almost like I was having a period. Sounds like that pretty normal?

Same happened to me....no idea if its a period of what....I have my 6 week pp visit Tuesday and I'm mortified!

I bleed then went away then came back bright red and passed clots not that big I decided to go get checked and I needed to get scraped because I had placenta membranes left over. I suggest you go get check better safe then sorry
