Hooray for poop!!!!

edited November 2015 in June 2016 Moms
My DS FINALLY pooped on the potty! And I've been trying since he was two, and since he turns three in two weeks, this is a huge cause for celebration in my house. I'm just so happy this means I can store my diaper genie in my basement for the next 7 blissful months before I need to drag it back out again.
Okay, maybe this doesn't deserve its own thread... But how often in your life do you get to be THRILLED at the sight of seeing a turd in your toilet?

Hah! But congratulations @WinniethePoohsPants, that is quite the accomplishment as well!
  • Congrats. I definitely took a picture of DS's first poop in the potty. Major accomplishment. :)

  • Congrats on the poop!  My DS turned turn just over a month ago - he refuses to do it.  He loves to tell us during or right after... Grrr...

  • That's awesome - congratulations!

My 3.5 year old has only done it a handful of times, so I think they were flukes. He usually waits until he gets a pull-up on for naptime or bedtime and then unloads (or the occasional bath tub accident *barf!*)! It's so frustrating!
