Blood pressure problems...anyone?

I developed high blood pressure 3 days before giving birth to my son.I am 12 weeks postpartum and it's still elevated . My OB/GYN is taking it over to my family doctor . Because he doesn't think it's pregnancy related anymore. Just wondering if anyone else had hbp after 12 weeks?

I was diagnosed with hbp the day before my due date, dr sent me in to be induced. I've been on labetalol since. Weaned down the dosage. I go back the end of this month and he said hopefully he'll be able to take me off. DS is 11 weeks today.
