Ginger chews are a lifesaver

I have been nauseated pretty much all day for the last 4 days. Sea Bands help a bit but I'm not ready for people to know and they would if they see me wearing them. Yesterday I found some ginger chews at TJ Maxx and they are amazing! I was feeling a bit off this morning and ate one, better in minutes. Lunchtime, again. Ate a ginger chew and was able to tolerate lunch and still feel good. I got two different brands, Chimes and Gin-Gins and both seem to work. Might be worth a try if your nauseated. Mind you I have not actually gotten sick, but I am barely eating because food repulses me and my tummy churns at the thought. Lunch today was the first real meal I have had in a few days.

  • I've also found Preggie Pop Drops to be a life saver. They come in sour fruit flavours...so good! I found them at Motherhood Maternity.

  • I'm on board with the preggie pops, I keep packs on me at all times. I take Mah Jongg lessons Monday nights and took out a pop in front of all the old ladies and one goes "Did you bring enough for everyone?" I said "yep! Who wants a morning sickness lolli??" They all just laughed and laughed
  • :'( I wish I could find some relief but I am allergic to ginger! Almost everything I can find to calm tummies has ginger in it. Such a bummer!
  • I like candied ginger- trader joes has some good stuff with their dried fruits and nuts.
