Umbilical cord cyst

Hello. Have any of you ever had an umbilical cord cyst found on ultrasound around 8 weeks? Our doctor wants us to have a follow up ultrasound next month to see if it resolves on its own? What were you told or what were the outcomes of your pregnancy? Thank you in advance!

My doctor said they couldn't see anything this early! I'm surprised they saw it so soon.

My cousin's doctor spotted one during her first transvaginal ultrasound so they ordered extra blood tests and a follow up ultrasound. When she went back everything checked out and the cyst was gone.
