Diagnose me...waiting for nurse to call

25 weeks one baby, 3rd pregnancy that has made it this far so I know something is off. I have gestational diabetes, but I have been really strict with my diet. Like salads and grilled chicken, snacks of PB and celery. I don't think this is related to the GD, but my heart feels like its racing from time to time and I feel a little shakey. Just off. My right leg outside goes numb very easily and my head pounds if I bend over to pick something off the floor. Just seems everything is worse this pregnancy. And of course my IF Brain is in full force freak out mode.

Any ideas?

Right leg numbness could be just peripheral neuropathy (nerves playing tricks on you) because of the weight gain.  My feet fall asleep (without my realizing it until I stand up) every time I have my legs outstretched (e.g. in bed) for more than about 20-30 minutes.  And I occasionally feel like someone has poured warm water over my left foot, which is very trippy.

Heart racing and shakiness - I vaguely recall feeling that during my first pregnancy, and it was nothing.  Are you having caffeine?  (Not a judgmental question - I know that some caffeine is perfectly fine during pregnancy, maybe 1-2 cups of coffee per day, I forget the specifics.)  If you are, that could be part of it, esp. if you'd cut out caffeine and then reintroduced it.

@marnief sounds like you spoke with my nurse before me! She said its normal pg side effect, but is having me take my pulse just to check. So far a normal 80 beats per minute. She mentioned it could be dehydration too. So I need to be better about my water intake. I only drink one cup of 1/2 caf coffee so not the caffeine but that is a good idea!!

@KidShrink I wonder if stress isn't helping the situation as we have way too much going on right now. My face is breaking out again too.
