June 2016 Moms

I think it's time to introduce myself! (Losses mentioned)

Hello, everyone! My name is Vicki and I am currently 8w on the nose. (I've known since 10/4, which was 10 days before my missed period but also 10 dpo, I just ovulated very early!) I'm currently on progesterone suppositories (they never said I had an issue with my levels, it is more of a precaution) - they are gross.

DH (25 y/o) and I (27 y/o) have had a bit of a difficult year. This is my 4th pregnancy in a year. I had 3 very early MC's. The last one was May 11th - well that was when I had the d&c. Without going into it too much, there isn't anything genetically "wrong" with either of us and they were just hoping it was bad luck. With my last pregnancy I did have a subchorionic hemorrhage that was fairly large and in the developing area. There were also miscarried remains found. (They never thought I needed a d&c w the first two, both were at 5 weeks).

So I am comfortable enough, now, to introduce myself and loosely participate. Last time the board caused me a lot of anxiety, so please, please, PLEASE, take no offense if I don't offer too much advice and mostly participate in the "fun" boards. Or I may even stay a bit of a lurker.

I do have a killer constipation cocktail and some rockin' skin care input!

Best of luck and baby dust to all of us here in the June board.

  • Welcome! I'm sorry for your losses and hope you have a great pregnancy! We had a loss in June, so I feel you.

Just an FYI (because I saw this the other day on another thread) "baby dust" can be offensive to some because of cremation. I never thought of it myself, our little girl was cremated, but I see how it can be taken wrong.

Again, best of luck and congratulations! :)

Eminence Organics! Depending on what the problem at hand is. But lately I've experienced break outs and oiliness! Switched to the Mineral Cleanser and Eight Greens serum. Fairly pricey, but products last foreverrrrrr! Like. 9 months to a year!
