Having trouble picking a stroller and car seat! Looking for a car seat that is light weight, high safety ratings and easy to install without base as I live in the city. Deciding between peg perego,Nuna pipa and Chico key fit 30 zip. I was set on peg but wanted uppa baby Cruz and it's not compatible. Now considering peg perego Book stroller instead as they seem comparable. However, most of my friends have reliable chicco so wondering if I should stick with that and uppa baby. Recently found Nuna online and also looks like a good option that fits with uppa. Any thoughts??? Driving husband insane!!!
I'm sorry I don't have experience with any of the strollers that you're looking at. With my daughter, we got the Baby Jogger City Mini GT stroller and the Chicco KeyFit30 seat. We got a Baby Jogger City Select now since I have need of a double stroller.
All at seats sold in the U.S. have to meet the same minimum safety standards, so choosing the safest isn't something to be concerned about. The Chicco Keyfit is very easy to use baseless. I have no experience with the others.
We love our Nuna pipa, it's only 7.7lbs. I have used it when I travel, it's pretty easy to install without a base (but I am ftm and it's the only one I have used) also we love the dream drape I never have to worry about the sun, wind or car seat cover.
I have the uppababy vista and I'm so happy with it! Best stroller! I was dead set on getting it, so I went with the uppababy Mesa car seat, which I'm also very pleased with - so easy to get the seat in and out of the car seat base, as well as the stroller.
For the city, I'd do either 1) UB Vista/ UB Mesa car seat or 2) Britax B ready/ Britax car seat. Both are sturdy city strollers and both have bassinet options, which are key for rolling a sleeping baby into your apartment

If you can find a keyfit not 30 it might be lighter? Otherwise In store it felt barely lighter than Britax.
We currently have a Britax and we're using a city select double with the adapter.
