I'm from Ohio originally! But I've moved all over the east coast in the last 10 years w/ my hubby who is in the Navy. Just moved to Connecticut two months ago. So far I have no favorite things about this place. (sorry notsorry CT)
San Diego,CA, Love a lot about my state, the beaches, the sunshine, there's a ton to do here, and everyone is pretty laid back.
Yay!!! Another San Diegan!
I'm also from San Diego, CA. (Out in east county/ Rancho SD)
I love this city! I was born and raised here, and DH and I have no plans leaving until we can't afford it anymore. I love that there's so much to do here, and that Disneyland is about 1.5 hours north, Vegas is 6 hours, and in the winter, we only have to drive about 2 hours to the local mountains to ski
What is your favorite thing about your city/state? I'm going to be honest here....I want to move out of Michigan. I lived just outside of Cinci for about a year and I would love to move back there. I'd also love to move to TN at some point.

@TaylorK89 my BIL is in the Navy in CT, and is originally from Ohio! I hope you find something you like about it soon. We always enjoy going to visit.
What is it about Ohio that makes everyone leave? lol. It is beautiful here, so that's a plus. I'm sure I'll find something to like about it the more comfortable I get here
What is your favorite thing about your city/state? I love how close we are to the ocean and the mountains. I love the diversity of people and foods in our town. I love the weather (though this drought is no joke...) I love how dog friendly everything is!
I love being near family, being close to the city & the beach, having 4 seasons, the bagels and pizza!
Where in North Jersey? Literally all I want are cream cheese bagels with tomatoes on them and Wisconsin just does NOT do bagels the right way, unfortunately. My dad (who I am going to visit in December, can NOT wait!) lives near Clinton and the Clinton Bagel Company is my first stop!
Despite a lot of the negative connotations people have with Baltimore, I LOVE my city! I love being able to play in social league sports on the weekends and walk to great bars/restaurants at night and even though the Ravens are sucking right now, I love them too!
Oh hey girl! Yes, always bleed purple in winter & orange in summer! Do you miss crabs & raw oysters like I do?! DYING for some!!
Where are you from? Born and raised in NJ until senior of high school, then moved to Raleigh, NC and lived their from 18 to 28, where I met my hubby and got married. Now we live in Kuwait City, Kuwait (he's a civilian contractor in the military).
What is your favorite thing about your city/state? As far as what I loved about where I was in NJ- we were 30/45 minutes right outside of NYC so we could go in, see a show, Christmas lights etc but not need to pay to stay there. Raleigh and NC- we get all the seasons, which are amazing, we're close enough to go to the mountains but also go to the beach. It's just a great place. As far as what I love about Kuwait- we travel to Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jordan and Qatar on a semi regular basis which is an awesome experience. I miss our families, but love the life we've got over here too.
I love summer and fall in Minnesota. I wish they would repeat over and over. I dislike winter. A lot. And spring is just yuck. Without winter... It would be the best place in the world. :-)
Heyyo! Another Minnesotan here! (Originally from Connecticut, but moved here a few years ago)
I agree, I hate winters too. I'm especially afraid to drive in snow.
Where are you from? I'm from Michigan but live in Virginia right now.
What is your favorite thing about your city/state? Back home, I love our weather! We have the most beautiful falls. Here, the ocean is nice, I suppose. I like that my husband gets off work every time it flurries.
Re: GTKY: Since everyone is asking ... Where are you from?
I love being near family, being close to the city & the beach, having 4 seasons, the bagels and pizza!

What is your favorite thing about your city/state? all the new restaurants that continue to pop up.
I'm from Maine.
I love everything about Maine! My husband is a potato farmer, and I love looking out my window and seeing nothing but fields for miles!
I'm also from San Diego, CA. (Out in east county/ Rancho SD)

I love that we get to experience all four seasons, although winter lasts a little longer than I like!
The mexican food here is the best. I love me some California burritos.
Am I the only Bay Area person so far??
I love everything about the Bay Area - the vibe, the food, the beauty, the people.
I just moved to Chattanooga, TN from the DC area. Originally from Southern Maine.
I like the temperate weather, the cool fog and the Sunday market in Chattanooga.
Where are you from? I'm from Michigan as well.

The best thing about Philly? All the awesome FOOD!!
My favorite thing about this area would really have to be the leaves changing colors in the Fall. The 3 years I lived down south I missed it so much.
I agree, I hate winters too. I'm especially afraid to drive in snow.
