Safe Over the Counter meds?

in 1st Trimester
I am 8 weeks and have picked up a cold, my throat is so raw from coughing and drainage that I am completely miserable, but I am so scared to take anything. I had a mc during my last pregnancy and I'm terrified of a repeat so I am so super cautious about everything. Please help!

    I'm in your same boat. I got Robitussen (sp?) DM, Benedryl, and Halls cough drops. All of those I was told are safe. Tylenol for fevers and aches. Hope you feel better soon!

    Dr. Google could probably provide a list. My doc just gave me a list, however. The only two regular cold meds that were contraindicated are sudafed and tavist.

    Benadryl, clariton, cough drops, robitussin, zyrtec, allegra, vicks all ok.

    Losses: MMC#1 11/12 BO, MC#2 11/13 at 8w BO?, MMC#3 8/14 chromo healthy M @12 weeks, stopped growing at 10.
    Negligible AMH, FSH finally went high. Pursued DE.

    DD born at 38w2d on 5-27-16. Finally!!

    Pregnant again with OE. EDD 11/9/17 Girl!
