I'm new and scared!!

Hi! I went to the doctor last Wednesday thinking I was 10 weeks (due to a very small period in Sept) to find out that I was really only 6 weeks. The ultrasound showed the sac but also a large blood clot. We took HCG levels both Wed. And Fri and they only increased from 20800 to about 25000... i go back this afternoon to see if everything is okay.

Has anyone ever heard of something like this before? I'm totally nervous!!

(My family has a huge background of pregnancy issues, I've had 2 miscarriages, my sister has had 2, my mom had 2 and 3 other live births that didn't make it)

Rising levels is a good thing, isn't it? I have no advice, but good luck and keep us posted!

Doctor said they should have doubled so she is concerned. I still feel pregnant so I'm praying it's a good sign!

Mine went from about 14,500 at 6 weeks 2 days to 17,500 at 6 weeks 4 days, and I've had two great ultrasounds since.

Thanks everyone!! The baby is doing ok!! Ultrasound showed development and a heart rate of 120.
