Low hemoglobine levels/iron suplements?

hi, my 5 week baby got throw a blood screening this week and it appeared that hemoglobine level was 11.2 . The pediatrician told me to give to my baby iron drops. Does any of you expected the same thing in your babies? Thank you

No, but I was taking a crap ton of iron so it probably transferred. They did tell me to give her vitamin D drops, though. :P
