It's been quite a while since I've been on here but...
I just found out this morning I'm pregnant with #3!!! My husband is currently out of town. We have 2 girls (one born June 2012 the other born August 2014). We were kind of just taking are chances to see what happened/if we'd have a third. With the other two we were together/he knew when i tested and I told him right away. Since this is my last pregnancy I'd like to make this announcement to him a little more special. He knows I'm "late"/haven't had period yet. My periods are irregular so not unusual. And he hasn't asked since he's been gone and I'm hoping he doesn't because I don't want to announce via text/phone call. He'll be home tomorrow night and I'd like to tell him ASAP after he gets home before he asks. I'm not good at hiding things and he's very observant. I'm looking for creative ways to tell him. Something where I spend minimum to no money. Any ideas are greatly appreciated!!! Some things about us to maybe help with ideas:
-As mentioned we have 2 girls both summer babies as this third one will be also. (All of us have summer birthdays)
-Ironically (without intention) both their names start with "Br". We have made comments if we'd do the same if/when we had a third.
-It was just recently on our anniversary in September where he told me he wanted to have a third, before that he was set on 2 and I was leaning towards 3 (as much of our family & friends know too so this may come as a surprise to them).
-previous ways of announcing to others were through game of scrabble, jar of prego, "big sister" shirt.
Thanks for your help!
Re: How to tell husband
It's a boy! Grow baby, grow! EDD: 4/22/2016
Both good ideas. What I did for my DH was I went out and bought two cheap onsies from Wal Mart and taped the positive pregnancy test to one of them. (And if you have one onsies from your girls, use one of those!!) I put them in a gift bag and gave it to him. I recorded his reaction on my phone. It was awesome and I almost cried.
I like the wrapping the test in a watch box too, that was one idea I was thinking on.
