Really though, WTF?
I posted this in the problematic parents post, but mine goes out to my Mom who saw me standing on the side of the road after I was in a car accident last night (baby is fine, thank God), rolled her window down to ask me if I was ok, and then drove off to run errands. WTF?! I just kept thinking to myself, that if it was my daughter, I would absolutely stop the car and get out to SEE if my daughter was ok. But I guess that's me. All I can say is that I hope to be a better parent to my daughter than my Mom is to me at times.
Re: WTF Wednesday
My WTF is to the second house were trying to buy as an investment property. Its bank owned, but they're terms are ridiculous and unrealistic. For example, they want us to have a mortgage in 15 days. Also, they won't turn on any utilities or the water or heat to the house for the inspection. We'd have to do so at our own risk and pay for any damages incurred. No thank you. Not my problem if I turn the water on and there's burst pipe sorted furnace blows up. My lawyer basicky told us to back out, which stinks because it's a cute house that would be easy to rent and is right around the corner.
My WTF is to my DD. Child, I love you more than life, but your brand new tantrum phase is making me wonder why I ever thought kid #2 was a good idea.
What's the point of having me end the day feeling like crap because she'd rather complain and throw a tantrum than do some research or let me collaborate with her to resolve? I'm pregnant, getting over a bad cold, my husband lost his job- I really don't need the added stress from her immature reactions/behavior.

ETA I feel so badly for him, and worry about his health based on what the tests say. The thought of exposure to certain things while pregnant is just extra scary....didn't mean to sound heartless about the impact on poor DH!
@Bluejay3030 thanks so much. Also, I feel for you with the tantrums. I'm going through that stage right now. It's miserable!
@yogahh I'm guilty of starting fights like this too. The hormones are crazy right now, so I don't think it's unreasonable to blame them. Hope things get easier for you and your H.
Perfume/cologne spraying in public should be a fine-able offense. Scent pollution!
Seriously it made me gag.

My WTF is the clerk's office for jury duty said the trials were stacking up for Wednesday (on Monday) and to make sure to call Tuesday night bc we would probably have to go in Wednesday morning. So, I had to alter my work schedule yesterday thinking I had to go in today. You have to wait and call at 5pm everyday so I did and guess what? No jury duty but call Wednesday night (tonight) bc you may be called in for Thursday. UGH. So, I had to alter my work schedule again today and totally forgot I have to go to a mandatory doc appt! Needless to say it has become impossible to get sleep or save vacation time for this LO bc jury duty is eating it up! FML.

However, nice newish guy just came up to me and said he would take half of my shift. So it makes it a little bit better I guess.
Now I can for sure go to the super awkward surprise birthday party for my step mom on Saturday. Yay!
WTF Wednesday goes to three separate people who have pissed me off for varying reasons. While typing this, I realize, it might need to go to my hormones! Am I just super sensitive? I rarely get these feathers ruffled and I feel like I am ten seconds away from cutting someone.
