Pregnant again

My son is 12 weeks old,I stopped bleeding 7 weeks after having him,had sex at week 7 and am pregnant again,how far along would that make me as I don't know how to work it out as had no period since bleeding after childbirth??

Probably the only way to tell is the dating ultrasound the first one they use do.

Good question...l was assuming she had sex more than once if she didn't know when she got pregnant.

Even then, can you estimate the due date based on conception? Even if she had sex once, she probably doesn't know exactly when she ovulated.

Well, no more than 5 weeks along. Sperm can theoretically live for around 5-7 days, so at the low end you could be 4 weeks along. Those would be based on conception. I'd go to the OB for a dating ultrasound.

You can estimate it because if she only had sex once and got pregnant she had to have ovulated within a few days of having sex. Sperm can only last a few days (they say 7 at the most) and when you ovulate the egg is only good for 12-24 hours.

How did you find out you were pregnant if you haven't started a period yet? Did you just have an inkling and decide to take a test?
