Etiquette re puking on a neighbors lawn?

I live in a town home style condo, the HOA pays for the upkeep of all exterior elements of our homes. I took the dog out to pee before bed and almost puked all over someone's lawn (I managed to hold it down...this time). I am usually the first one home so the responsibility of taking the dog out to pee after the work day falls on me. Not taking him out until DH gets home isn't really an option. Any suggestions for future occurrences and help regarding clean up etiquette?

  • If not a hose, maybe a large water bottle...

  • Do you own a hose? I feel for your pukiness, but I have to admit, this cracked me up!

I'm sure I'll laugh about it in a few weeks time! The only hoses are at the end of the townhome units (7 or 8 houses per) and I'm not sure how long they reach...maybe I'll just stay near the ends of the units, carry a bag and hope I have good aim.

    Good luck!

  • I carry a shopping bag almost everywhere in my pocket LOL
  • I think the shopping bag suggestion is your best bet. This made me giggle. :)

  • With my first I ha to have a grocery bag (or two) with me all the time. I used it in public more often than I would like to admit. :\">

  • I'm sorry, but this post made me laugh a little OP. I would agree with PPs that keeping a grocery sac wth you is probably the best plan. I hope your MS calms down soon!
  • Just here for the giggles. Thanks OP.

  • If you get busted, you could just tell your neighbor that the grass isn't always greener on the other side?

  • Omg, this post is making me laugh so hard. I almost lost it in a few yards when I went for a walk last week and was thinking the same thing. I found some pretty Puke bags in Amazon and next day shipped that shiznit.

  • =))

Loved this post! I'm sorry you're so sick though! I would just put a pack of the dog poop bags in your coat pocket for the future!

Unless of course you don't like your neighbors...

  • Love this post. Sorry you're so sick! Ditto to the grocery bag idea. Just make sure it doesn't have a hole in the bottom before you head out! Been there.....

  • Haha!!! This hits so close to home. Arriving home the other day and couldn't get out of the car and indoors fast enough... I lost it all over my neighbors car port. I had already used my purse bag after shopping; lesson learned is to carry two (actually I carry doggie poop bags roll now and we don't own a dog). Also, boyfriend was on clean up duty as I was stuck over a toilet. His lesson learned... keep 2 jugs of water in the trunk for emergency clean up.
  • This thread is cracking me up! I would definitely grab a roll of dog poop baggies to keep on me at all times.
