Cyst/Polyp Removal Surgery

Coming up on the 19th of this month and have a few questions you guys may be able to help with

• How long did you wait after to TTC I am hoping I can try in December but am reading that alot of people had to have a recovery month...(only have 1 so maybe I can jump back on it??)
  
•         In some threads I noticed a few people responded and said something about a scraping or something else? should I request they do something else while I am under?
• Decent amount of discomfort? or not  really a big deal if lay around for a few days??
• Any other questions or suggestions? My only tests have been HSG and AMH (Low amh is my issue) --after 2 rounds of clomid my RE Does a vaginal ultrasound to check the # of eggs after each cycle but has never checked my levels of anything else?

I only have experience with fibroid removal, but is it laparoscopic or a hysteroscopy?

I had a hysteroscopy to correct the shape of my uterus, so not for fibroids. It happened around ovulation time, and I bled for about a week. Then I got my period a few days later than usual (I ended up with a cyst), and started treatment right away (femara and follistim with IUI). That ended up being my succesful cycle, so I got pregnant within a month after the surgery (I also had a laparoscopy for severe endometriosis at the same time). Unless you have side effects after the surgery that would prevent TTC, you shouldn't have to wait too long. I don't know how it changes the odds in your case, but for us it significantly increased our chances for 6 months, so we decided to be as aggressive as possible to make it happen (we were going to do one more IUI and go straight to IVF after if nothing had worked).

I have a polyp removed from my tube. No pain or discomfort afterward. Just a little groggy that day.

I've had two polyps removed. I had just a little cramping after and was pooped from the anesthesia. Both surgeries were a couple days before ovulation and we were told we couldn't try that month. Best of luck!

Just plan on taking it easy for a few days and you'll be fine! I had some pretty bad nausea the day of my surgery, but I was under anesthesia for 4 hours (which is longer than usual). After that it was no big deal.

My surgeries were scheduled right at the end of my cycle so both times I took the next two cycles off.
