Today I am 5w1d. I have my first ultrasound one week from today and it feels as if the days are already creeping by. I am really hoping to see a heartbeat but mostly I think we will find out how many babes there are in there. I am feeling ok. Sore boobs and a little irritable but not a many symptoms as at first which has me a little worried. I feel like if I want to throw up then that means everything is ok. I actually took another pregnancy test a day or two ago -- not that it tells me much but I just wanted to see the line again.

QOTW: Are you planning to find out what you're having? Or do you already know?

We are going to find out but I am not sure when. I really love the idea of waiting but DH wants to know and I am a planner so that works for me. DH says that I'll be surprised whenever I find out.

I'm 14 weeks tomorrow so will be transferring to the 2nd tri check in! Exciting, and hope to see you ladies there soon! I saw my doctor last friday to discuss results of the ultrasound the previous week. Turns out everything is perfect, and baby was actually measuring a little ahead! Low risk pregnancy, and all is good. The one thing I thought might be interesting for those of you considering buying a doppler is that I have an anterior placenta (i.e. Baby implanted in the front of my uterus rather than the more usual back). Not a problem, other than it explains why we were having so much trouble finding baby's heartbeat with the doppler (the placenta essentially acts as a cushion in between, muffling sounds, and will likely muffle the movements which my prevent me from feeling anything for a little longer than usual). Since then though, it seems like baby has grown enough to make it really easy to find the heartbeat. My doctor was telling me that your uterus should grow by about one cm above your pubic bone from the 12th to the 20th week, so you can rely on that to have a better idea of where baby is.

Hello ladies! I am 11w1d today. No appointments for me this week. I am starting to show but it's not really all that flattering. I'm currently at the stage where I either look like I'm gaining weight or I'm pregnant.  I think by next week I'll be showing a little more. Anyone else showing yet?

QOTW: We will find out the sex. We have our anatomy scan on December 21! My cousin offered to make a cake for us (we would have them write the sex and put it in an envelope and I'd take it to her) so that we could cut it with the family and all find out together. I want to do that if DH can wait, but he doesn't seem like he wants to. So if we find out at the appointment we will tell everyone on Christmas. I was thinking a box full of balloons.

@KidShrink Congrats on graduating to the second trimester! We will miss you here but we will see you soon.

10w 3days here! I had to go this morning get my 1st Tri Blood work with 1 hour glucose testing. I was also able to finally verify that my insurance will cover both NT scan & DNA blood work so I'm about to call my obgyn to get that scheduled! WOOOHOOO!

QOTW: I convinced DH to find out!!!! We were team Green with DD and it was a wonderful surprise but this time I want to know if I should unpack all of her clothes and wash them or if I should sell them! LOL. We will have the doctor write down what we are having and we will find out with all of our friends at our annual New Year's Eve party. I'm going to have someone make cake pops and color the inside either blue or pink and after we do our countdown we will tell everyone to bite into them to reveal what we are having.

Hi all! Trudging along at 7+4 today. Have my next US on Friday and I'm excited. LO seems to be doing well judging by my excessive bloat and nausea. Lol.

QOTW: we plan to find out around wk 12 from the nipt test or whatever chromosomal bw they order. We are going to ask for one since I will be over 35 for delivery. I'm excited to know but don't have a preference really.

This nausea lingers.. All day every day. I'm really over it!! Sore boobs off and on, and of course exhausted! The price we pay for our little miracles

Hello ladies, I am 8w4d today. Both the ultrasound at 6w5d and 7w5d went well with fertility expert. I've now graduated to OB and the first appointment is on 19th. Morning sickness hasn't been that bad yet. However I seemed to have dry cough going on randomly through out the day so they sent me back to PCP. Haven't found the cause of the cough. The PCP did the urine test though and seems like there is glucose in the urine so I went ahead and did one hour glucose test which came back as high. So I was scheduled for 3 hour glucose testing today. However, after doing the baseline and then drinking that fluid that they give u, I was supposed to have blood drawn again. But I puked before that so they sent be back and told me to come back tomorrow. I don't know if I am supposed to cry or laugh. After going through the whole IVF process I just want this pregnancy to go smoothly. But seems like gestational diabetes will now be added to the list.

QOTW: don't really know if we'll find out the gender or not. I really want to be team green till birth but not sure if we'll be able to hold out or not. Let me just survive the first trimester first

6/27/15. Two beans!

Today I am 6w2d and had my first u/s yesterday. We got to see the flicker of one little heartbeat measuring at 110bmp. Doc said that's a little low so going back next week for another u/s. Looks like I did have a twin but it stopped growing around 5 weeks

I'm feeling pretty normal. My early bloat seems to have subsided and my appetite is returning. No MS or fatigue yet, I'm living it up until it shows up! No appointments this week, but our first ultrasound the week after...very excited!

QOTW: My DH and I have decided to be on different teams. I'm staying Team Green and he'll find out the gender so he'll know the name and be able to pick out a few things for the nursery and a few pieces of clothing. I'm hoping it turns out to be a good way for him to have a special connection to the baby before it arrives. This all hinges on my ability to be surprised...it could fail epicly!

Had my us today at 8+0 and they've taken away my training wheels. No more estrace or PIO after next Wednesday and I've been turfed to the regular OB!
