CD31, 3DPO.  As my RE said on Friday, "the watched kettle finally boils".  I was in for monitoring basically every morning last week and am so glad to be done with it!  We are good to go for our FET on Wednesday.  I am making my own progesterone but they want to supplement with crinone anyway so I start that tonight.

QOTW: We do mid-day Thanksgiving dinner with my parents.  This is the first year since DD was born that I don't have to work on Black Friday so maybe we will do something for that this year.  We have also never had a tree at our house since DD was born and she asked for one this year.  We will either be renting or in a different home by then so we will make sure to have a tree and decorate it.  That might be all the effort I have for this holiday season.

@ellebelle2384 I have everything crossed for you that could possibly be crossed!  It's time for another wave of good news on this board!!!!!! FX FX FX

Cycle Status:  9dpo.  We completed another giant pile of paper work for our adoption agency and sent it out this morning!  They received everything from the agency that we did the home study last Friday, so hopefully between the two huge piles of paperwork we have everything done!  We filmed our profile video over the weekend and that should be edited and wrapped up in the next week or so.  Getting close!!!

QOTW:  We always do Thanksgiving with my family because we usually spend the Jewish holidays with DH's family in the fall.  My mom always treats my twin sister and me to a day of black Friday shopping for our birthday at the beginning of December.

@ellebelle2384-- GOOD LUCK!!!  Crossing everything for you!!!

@Frenchteachermama-- All the best with the adoption agency!  I can't imagine the amount of paperwork involved.  I hope making the video was at least a fun activity for you!

Cycle Status:  Going for BW this Saturday to confirm ovulation and then starting Estrace and Ganirelix for another IVF cycle.  I just got a call from the pharmacy and almost passed out when they told me the total for the meds.  This is the first time I am totally out of pocket as my insurance has officially ran out on me.  Last time I only had to pay OOP for the compounded meds.

QOTW:  We go to my in-laws for Thanksgiving every year.  My MIL does a really great job, but it is all too fancy for my liking.  Growing up, we always watched the parade on TV and got together to be with family all day.  My MIL has a formal seating where there are placecards and everyone has to wear dresses and suits and we go around the table to talk about what we are thankful for... don't get me wrong, it is a nice tradition and she puts forth so much effort, but I grew up a little more casual.  I really do love this time of year, though.

Ugh that sucks about the meds @GK2009!  My meds were never covered so my RE's office had me go to the university hospital's pharmacy here where they have a discount program set up for uninsured/uncovered patients.  Can your RE do something like that for you too?

Fingers crossed for all of you ladies wherever you re in your journey.

I am on CD 6.  I started clomid and gonal f on Thursday.  Tonight is my last night of clomid. The gonal f I did every other night, thursday, saturday and tonight. I go in on Wed for a check and probably more Gonal f after that.  Just hoping for some response after last months fiasco and no response or a late response.

Our meds are also OOP...all the procedures are covered by our insurance but not the meds.  Which is why i'm so nervous to move to IVF because I have a 35% chance (Or so they say) Of not even responding to the meds and that would be after spending thousdands on them.

QOTW:  We do thanksgiving every other year with my family and my dad's sister and her family. It's great as we don't see each other often so that is nice so I am looking forward to it this year.  Some of my cousins live far away so it's the only time we get to see them sometimes.
When I was a kid we always went to the thanksgiving day parade so I may start taking my son too now that he is old enough to enjoy it (as long as it's not pouring or freezing)

    @ellebelle2384 I have everything crossed I can!!!
@frenchteachermama so glad things are coming along with adoption.
@GK2009 tell me about it!!! I didn't even order everything they sent for me yet in case I didn't need it and it was 3k (I have about another $1200 they waned me to order but I doubted I would stay at the super high dose all cycle so I figured I would wait that out) This is after I got about $1k in donated meds too from a few awesome people. There are some discount programs like first steps if you qualify. I only was able to get 5% off, which was annoying because my husband are far from wealthy with my Remicade infusions coating 2k pop a pop. There is also a program called compassionate care. I would check them out. Our university pharmacy will only let you get meds there if you are going to their clinic.
@rachlee2010 I hope they got the dosage right for you this time!! FX for you!

I am on day 2 of stims for IVF #2. I have my first monitoring appointment where I am sure we will be adjusting my dose. They are starting me high this time and going down so that I will be on very little meds towards the end of the atom cycle when these SER aggregates form. Hope this does the trick!!!

QOTW: we go to Palm Springs every Thanksgiving with my Family and one of my best friends comes over to meet us too from San Diego. It is always a blast.

I thought I was done, but did my open enrollment picking the option with the highest IF coverage again, so clearly, I am hoping to keep trying. I will try to schedule an appt with the Asherman's doc in the new year. I want to get through the holidays happy without the what comes next blues.

My entire extended family has a huge Christmas party where we rent a hall and have a pageant where all the littles recreate the first Christmas. Then Santa & Frosty show up to hand out presents. It is pretty awesome.

    Kid #1 - 09/03/12
    Kid #2 - maybe???
    Diagnosed with Severe Ashermans
Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube
#11 or IVF with scarring still inside?

Crossing all crossables for you, ellebelle2384, @GK2009, @Rachlee2010, @1983Lindsey2, and @Frenchteachermama! I'm glad you're gearing up to try again, @Flamingemu, and continuing to wish the best for you! @Jodee37, I hope you're taking time to relax during your break and that you're able to move on to next steps soon!

Cycle Status: 9dpIUI. Enduring the 2ww with limited patience, hating the Crinone and what it's doing to my body, feeling like a total emotional basket case, but gritting my teeth and bearing it! :) The fact that I'm turning 43 next week may have something to do with my grumpiness too... feeling like time is slipping away, and starting to lose hope that another child is possible... Trying to remind myself that age is just a number, despite what those awful online articles say, and that many women get pregnant well into their forties. Sometimes it's hard though...

QotW: My grandma used to send all her grandchildren 8 Chanukah presents each. Little toys, just so we would have something to open each night, and then a big toy on the 8th day. My sister and I loved our grandma with all our hearts, and when she passed in 2009 the loss of her was life-changing. She tragically never got to meet our respective children, so we decided that she must live on in us, and that we would carry on her Chanukah tradition with each other's kids. So my sister sends 8 prezzies to my son, and I send 8 prezzies to hers (and now to her daughter too, who just turned one, and whose middle name is Pearl after our grandma).

P.S. I apologize if I made anyone weepy - I know we're all on various hormones that make us cry at the drop of a pin! ;)
