My doctor didn't see a heartbeat. Per my last period, I'm at 7.5 weeks but I might have ovulated late. My hcg level was 28K and in 2 days, it only went up to 31K. My doctor was not reassuring since my numbers should have doubled or close to it. I have another US next Tuesday and I am scared that we won't see a heartbeat again. This is my first pregnancy so I'm scared and at the same time disappointed in not seeing the results I wanted to see...I haven't had any spotting or major cramps. Any advice?

Unfortunately, there really isn't any advice for anyone to give you.
I know it hard not knowing and being worried but only time can tell what the outcome will be.

The best thing I can do, even though on the Internet and a stranger, os give you some internet hugs. I'm sure it's very tough to go through, and I wish you well. Be strong, though. That's the best thing you can do for yourself. In my honest opinion. Because worrying will make everything worse!

All I can say is just hang in there another week or 2... Also, once your hcg is that high it won't double every 48 hours anymore. Usually it's 96+ hours doubling time. Mine is actually 149 hours to double, but so far everything looks good!
