Hello- New to The Bump

Hello! I'm so glad I've finally been upgraded to a member, I've been patiently waiting to post. My husband and I have been married for over a year now and have been trying to conceive since we got married. At first my periods were very irregular so my doctor put me on progesterone and clomid for 3 months. But we still did not get pregnant. Through further testing we found out everything is alright with me but my husband has a very low morphology. At first it was a 2 and now it has gone up to a 4. We are going to continue to try for a few more months and then look into IUI, as IVF is not a financial option for us right now. This process is just so sad and frustrating. We are ready to move onto the next step in or marriage and struggling to do so.

Welcome, I'm sorry that you have to be here, but glad that you found us!    I'm also sorry that we didn't get to you before your OBGYN put you on Clomid without testing.  50% of infertility is male specific but due to idiotic practices many OBGYNs throw Clomid  at women like candy before even knowing what is wrong.  Your DH might have been better off taking the Clomid instead of you.

Hello.  Relatively new here myself.  Also have a low morphology diagnosis, and we are doing IUI w/Clomid and trigger.  Our RE had me do the Clomid to increase number of eggs (and thus the chance that a good sperm will find an egg).  Just did second IUI yesterday, so FX for now.  I would encourage you to find an RE that you like, if you haven't already.  I definitely hear you on being ready for the next step in my relationship with DH and feeling like we're not getting anywhere, but having a plan with the RE is helping.
