How many weeks are you? Fruit size? 9 weeks and an olive.

Any Dr. Apt. Updates? I had my first nurse appointment on Monday. She did blood and urine tests. That all. Results are supposed to be in today... Tick tock.

Rants/Raves? Eating has been an issue. I am hungry. But nothing seems good. Then I eat. And I am full all day. It is so different than my first pregnancy. I couldn't stop eating. I was so hungry all the time and never sick.

GTKY: Describe the best date you've ever been on!! My 25th birthday was up there as one of the best. I was living in Chicago, and my husband surprised me with everything. It started in the afternoon with a very personalized tour at Half Acre Brewery, a nice private dinner at an Italian BYOB, and the night was spent at a Jimmy Eat World concert. I have had crazier dates, but this one was the most intimate, special date that I will always remember.

I'm also 9 weeks today! Olive! I got a vm from my OB yesterday that I needed to start taking an iron supplement. I guess my blood test shows a deficiency.
I'm also having a weird relationship to food. Nothing sounds good but if I make myself eat, it's not so bad. I haven't eaten red meat once since I found out I was pregnant. I guess that could be why my iron is low. I used to love steaks and burgers. Now all I can stomach is chicken. Also eating lots of soup, pasta, and rice. It's like I'm recovering from food poisoning LOL.

Best date: For our first year dating anniversary, he took me on a surprise carriage ride thru a neighborhood that's famous for its Christmas light decorations. We had to snuggle be it was so cold. It was so romantic!

Any Dr. Apt. Updates? Still waiting on my first appointment with the midwife next week. 

Rants/Raves? I'm having a hard time getting enough water each day. I can't drink plain water anymore without feeling like I'm going to vomit so I have to mix it with gatorade or juice. This is fine but I'm still not drinking enough. Sigh. On a different note, DH and I are heading to Vegas tomorrow for a few days with some friends. Obviously this trip was planned before we found out I'm pregnant. I'm a little nervous about flying and feeling nauseous and about what I will be able to eat since it's so hard to find food appetizing right now. But I think the distraction and laughing with our friends will be good.

GTKY: Describe the best date you've ever been on!! This one has been on my mind this week since we're going to Vegas tomorrow... Last year we were in Vegas and had a date night where DH took me to a really nice steakhouse. I had a filet mignon with gorgonzola sauce and wonderful wine. We walked down the strip and watched the fountain at the Bellagio. Then went to see Beatles LOVE which was AMAZING!

Next Thursday will be my first appointment. I'm not exactly sure what will happen. I'm seeing the doctor I switched to halfway through my last pregnancy. I'm hoping she will do a dating ultrasound to really nail down a due date. But for now I still go here.

Rants/Raves?
I woke up the last few nights feeling awful sick and had to run to the bathroom. During the day it hasn't been so bad but I'm exhausted because of it. I'm hoping the sickness stays to just night time though. I don't think I can handle feeling like that with both kids around all day.

GTKY: Describe the best date you've ever been on!!
I usually don't go on normal dates. Probably the best has been going ocean fishing all day with my now husband when we first met.

Rant/raves: rough night with ds so tired today
GTKY: Back in the day (highschool) my now hubby took me on a motorcycle ride down through his farm land to the creek where he had a candle lit picnic set up and a camp fire. (Pretty good for a 16 year old) We have had manybother amazing dates but i realize on this date i wanted to marry him

Rants/Raves? The constant heartburn is almost completely gone, yippy!!! But this waiting two more weeks for my first official doctors appt is driving me bonkers! At least I'll finally get to see my little firecracker. (With the heartburn I've had? Ohhh no buddy, no peanut nickname for you! Lol)

GTKY: Describe the best date you've ever been on!! It was our 2nd year dating anniversary. He bought me a cute simple comfy outfit to change into after work and we went to a favorite Cajun restaurant when I got off. Then we went on a carriage ride around downtown. It wasn't very expensive or out there, but we were together and had a great night

Any Dr. Apt. Updates? Not for another 3 weeks.

Rants/Raves? I feel like MS has improved - the beginning of the week was awful but manageable now. Which also makes me worried....but...trying to stay positive.

GTKY: in going to come off as really boring when I say I cannot think of one. Never been big into "dates", more just hanging out casually. On vacations we've done more fun "outings" if those count as dates - sunset cruises with open bar and the like.

Any Dr. Apt. Updates? Appointment on Thursday 11/5 for blood work and a checkup. Then it will be every 4 weeks for while!

Rants/Raves? I need to stop eating candy! Damn Halloween! Also, my poor DD and I are both getting over colds. I don't care about myself, but poor baby can't get rid of this cough. I feel so bad! =-(

GTKY: Describe the best date you've ever been on!! We've had so many, and we LOVE to eat and drink, but I think wine tasting in Napa was one of the most special/fun things we've done. It's hard to pick a favorite after almost 15 years.
