@mrsschmity , I am! We live in Western Wisco now (Ellsworth). Where are you located?
We are about an hour north of the Twin Cities!
I am also an hour north of the TC...
Where at @Patience7150? If you don't mind me asking
I'll jump on this.  I live in the east metro... but our cabin is on Cross Lake in Pine City!  That's about an hour north :-)

  • Also, Chick-fil-a is gross.  I tried the basic chicken sandwich for the first time a couple days ago and there was nothing in it- just chicken and two pickles!  I just don't get the hype.
I used to feel this way. But then I discovered their Polynesian sauce. I cannot eat Chick fil A without it, but with it, I prefer Chick fil A to most other fast food chicken. Also, don't get the sandwich. Chicken strips and chicken nuggets are definitely the way to go.
  • I have a very unpopular opinion and am sure I will be flamed- I hate when people look down on me for buying my dogs instead of adopting them.

I get that there are millions of dogs that need homes and it breaks my heart. BUT- after my sister got rid of her dog for attacking her other dog within inches of her newborn baby, I decided I would never adopt a dog.
(She adopted Elsie as an 8 week old puppy from a puppy mill)

I have had my pups since they were 8 weeks old, I have played with their teeth, tails, nails everyday since they were babies and am confident they wouldn't bite. I just cannot justify bringing an adopted dog into my house with a history of abuse or aggressive behavior when I am expecting to have a household of young children in the next few years.

    End rant.

I'm right there with ya girl. We really want an english bulldog, they run around $2k. It's the only dog we're interested in and you don't usually find them at mills.

No. Chickfila sauce. Just go on and hand me a couple of packets and a spoon.

  • Ok my UO is that I can't stand it when people post "ETA: fixed spelling"
You can edit your post without telling the world. It will be ok, I promise.
Now, if you're getting flamed or offering bad legal advice, you should probs tells us why you're all of a sudden editing your post... But if you're just posting regular old replies... Why bother? Nobody cares.

Nobody at Chick-fil-a offered me any sauces!  Apparently I Chick-a-failed.

  • I don't really have an UO, but I wanted to chime in on the Canadian shopping bit. I recently bought an online gift card for my nephew who lives out of town. It just sends an email with a code and he buys whatever he wants online or in the store. Maybe that's an option?
