How does nj unemployment work??

Ive never been unemployed since i was of age to actually work this is all very new and i know nothing about it however my current job does not offer leave or benefits so i have to go through the state i read that you can take 4 weeks before and 6 weeks after your date off so i was going to leave work december 17th but my job is getting worst with verbal attacks towards and its a very stressful high school like ran complany unfortunelty im having panic attacks really bad anxiety and causing me to feel sick all the time from it i know its unhealhy for me and the baby is there anyway to get unemployment any earlier i cant afford to not have any income

Try explaining the situation to your dr and see if you can get her to put you on "bed rest" that's considered disabled
