help !!!!

my husband and I have been ttc for a year and a half. I recently just finished my period which was lighter then usual. after my period I had for a week a brown discharge. it wasn't heavy ebough for a tampon but consistent enough. now today I have my period. this has never happened to me before and I'mstarting to worry. I've been sick the past two days abd crampy today and my Dr on call from my obgyn isn't guarenteed to get back to me today.

has anyone had this happen before and should I be worried

I wouldn't be worried. Could just be a wonky cycle. Your dr should have the best advice though.

Okay @lgem4 I did take a hpt and it was negative. the brown discharge didn't bother me as bad but since it lasted for a week I worried and then once I got my period I really got nervous lol thank you @lgem4 and @MamaBish !!!!

Yes, I did have something similar to this and it turned out I had a cyst. I am not trying to say that your doctor is the best person to let you know what this could mean. There are other people who have had the same type of bleeding but it was nothing, good luck.

the thing I was thinking of also is my one dr told me I had pcos and ovarian cysts. my other dr told me I do not. so I was kinda worry ed that it maybe have had something to do with a cyst or the pcos. .. so basically what did they do for the cyst you had @chanfa

So my doctors confirmed the ovarian cyst with an ultrasound. Have you done any kind of testing like that? Did the second doc tell you why they believed you did not have pcos/cysts? I don't know if this is TMI but I would pretty much have AF, then dark brown spotting for a week, REALLY BAD PAIN, and then normal red AF color for a week. If you are unhappy with the response from your second doctor, go to another and see what they suggest. 

I had two cysts within 5yrs and both times I had surgery to remove them. I have 4 lovely scars to remember them by.

yes I had an ultra sound done and then I had the vaginal ultrasound done. my ob never is wrong. at least she thinks. so she is sending me to a fertility dr. I honestly 100 believe I have psoc and cysts. I have every symptom but I have 2 different answers from two different drs. I'm just nervous if it's let go something can go really wrong. what I have going on right now, is exactly what you just explained to me that you have. thanks for taking the time to get back to me I'm still new to all of this so I'm trying to figure out everything I can @chanfa
