I personally passed down them. I saw them and held them in my hand. As far as being 8-10 weeks, I believe I wasn't as far as my doctor said I was. Believe me I thought they were clots at first, but describing them to my doctor with her asking me questions she came to the conclusion what it was. My levels were high just like I had been pregnant. I had to go back to the hospital days later to check on my levels.

Didn't your doctor ask you to save the remains and bring them in for analysis?

  • ****loss mentioned***** I had a natural MC at 8 weeks- it was all just big, clotty blood-- definitely nothing to "hold in my hands" especially considering The fetus is less than 2cm long at that point. I'm sorry but I don't believe that ur doc told u-- just from your description--- that two of your clots were fetuses... Your doc didn't even see it with her own eyes.... I think I need to walk away from this post- sounds like OP is going to stick to her opinion either way

    To the bolded.
Although I find OP bull crap, I do have to disagree with you here.
I was 7 weeks 2 days when I had a miscarriage and mine came out in my hand while I ran back into my bathroom after just having a shower. I could clearly see what was in the sack. Everyone is different, so you can't say it's not possible just because it didn't happen to you. With that said, I find that OP has a lot of holes in her story and non of it really makes sense to me either.

You should probably wait to start TTC till you are at least old enough to buy your own wine. You're going to need it for the WTO time periods. Good grief. Go be a kid. Go party.

Edited: just finished reading through the rest of this thread and it got really sad really fast. Sorry for everyone's loss. My post ^ was to OP on wanting advice on TTC and in response to her stating that "she doesn't party anymore"
Don't want to rub anyone wrong by posting after the mood had changed in here. My bad.

My bringing up the size of the embryo at 8-10 weeks was to ask what exactly the OP was saying she "saw" that she just knew it was a miscarriage. If the embryo continued growing until that point, by 8-10 weeks it would be about an inch in size. Of course, someone could have a missed mc where it stopped growing earlier than that but wasn't passed until that point.

I totally understand that not all losses are the same and not everything that is passed is recognizable as such. My point was more that if OP passed clots that were not distinctly recognizable as embryos, they could have been simply clots unrelated to mc.
