    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 16/3

    Timing: O only

Testing Plans: In one week, at 10DPO. Last month I started spotting at 9DPO so we'll see.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Got crosshairs today, so I'm excited about that. We only ended up having sex once during FW, which turned out to be O day. I had expected O on Saturday or Sunday. But I still have a good feeling for some reason. Of course I don't want to get my hopes up at 3DPO, but I'm over here putting the cart before the horse all over the place, thinking about when we'll tell our parents (Thanksgiving) and when we'll tell other family/friends (Christmas) and all that fun stuff. I need to tone it down.

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why? About 24 hours to San Antonio when I moved there with my ex-H, and then 24 hours when I moved back. That was about 10 years ago now. Recently, we drove to Tampa for vacation which was about 16 hours I think.

ETA my month/cycle because I can't think on Monday mornings I guess.

    Timing: -4, -3, -2, 0, +1

Testing Plans: I plan on waiting until 9 or 10 dpo.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Just got my CH yesterday and I'm happy with our timing.

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why? I drove from Indiana to Daytona Beach, FL for a vacation.  It was about a 16 hour drive.

  • Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO: 18/3? Don't temp so I can't know for sure

    Timing: -1,0

Testing Plans: Hoping I can hold out until 11/5 which would put me at 13 DPO.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: TMI ahead. Very bummed because we had everything timed really well this month and then boom, Saturday I woke up with a yeast infection. We HIO on Thursday and Friday; on Friday I had EWCM and pain on my one side which are normal O indicators for me. However, I can't be certain since I didn't temp. Obviously HIO was a no-go for the rest of the weekend. This is a lesson for me because had I temped I would know for certain if I actually O'ed on Friday or if I missed my window. So I'll definitely be temping from now on even though my sleep cycles are absolute crap.

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why? Hilton Head, SC with my parents when I was a teen.

    CD/DPO: 23/9

    Timing: -2,0

Testing Plans: Halloween, and maybe this Wednesday, I can't decide and DH is giddy.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Woke up early today so earned myself an open circle today. Getting another open circle (probably a discard really) for waking up 3 hours earlier than temp time tommorow for DH's Dr appointment. He's a cancer survivor and tomorrow we get results of his 4 year scans. I'm not worried about it but obviously the appointments make him anxious. I think that's part of why he wants/wanted me to test earlier than Halloween, to give him some good news before his appointment or to compound the good news after his appointment. Tomorrow is going to be exhausting, we'll be driving at least 10 hours, my temp won't be accurate, and my husband will be anxious. Should be a super fun day!! Between waiting for my husband's test results and waiting for a BFP or AF, I'm going to need some extra naps and chocolate this week...

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why? 13 hours from my brother's house at the time to mine. I made stops with different people on the way there to cut up the distance and meant to do it on the way back too but left early because I was so pissed off. Packed my shit before anyone woke up and headed straight home.

Testing Plans: CD9 or CD 16 (work trip...)

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I survived my inlaws, can I get a gold star.  I am super nervous for the next few days I normally start cramping on CD8 or 9 and I have convinced myself that if I don't cramp that means I am KU.  From the BFPs on the TWW it seems the symptoms of early PG are lack of AF symptoms.

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why? From Cincinnati to Destin for vacation.  Alabama is such a long state, the gps took us the non highway route and those small towns were super creepy.

@jhems776 This happened to us when driving to Tampa, it took us some back way through northern FL. It's funny because I don't picture FL as being "country" at all, but obviously it's a big state so it can't all be the city. But I agree, it seemed super creepy.

    CD/DPO: 21/5

    Timing: -3, -1,0,+1

Testing Plans: Going to wait until 11/1 since AF is supposed to come on 11/2

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: Last two months I had cramping 2 days before AF so I am sure that if I get cramping at some time this coming weekend, I'll be out. I ended up buying the FF VIP membership since it was on sale for $25/year, hopefully I get to use it to its full potential! Last cycle, I was testing by now and I probably drove myself crazy but since I started to temp I feel a lot calmer. Hopefully it lasts =)

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why? I have only driven about 20mins and that was to college (after my dad drove 90% of the way there).

Testing: started on CD 24 or 25 since my cycles are usually 26-27 days but still here. BFN daily. Gonna keep testing til AF. Must have ovulated later than usual or didn't ovulate this cycle maybe. Hopefully don't have to wait much longer.

R/R/CS: haven't had much to worry about so far today bc I've been super busy til right about now (I get to work around 630).

GTKY: longest drive-probs Spring break sophomore year of college to fort Myers Florida. It was about 17 hours. Stupidly drove through the night.

  • Thanks ladies!!  And yes I admit I was debating using the other test this AM but if I got the same little nonconfirmational nothing line I might go crazy!  Hence debating buying a digital.  It would be too early to test with one at this point though, right?  I usually see people testing with those AFTER they expected AF to start.

    TTC #1 Feb 2015

  • Month/Cycle: 1st cycle TTC after loss.

    CD/DPO: 16/2

    Timing: ED during FW.

Testing Plans: Not until 14dpo which is next Saturday, November 7.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: It's Monday and I woke up at 4am with a major headaches... Enough said.

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why? 14 hours to Disney.
  • Month/Cycle: 6/4th month temping

    CD/DPO: 28/9

    Timing:  -3,-2, 0, +1

Testing Plans:  Seeing the BFPS is making me struggle with this and want to test early but I know better than that, especially with shorter LP.  I plan to try to wait until Sunday because I'll be out of town overnight Friday till late Saturday and if I got a positive it would be hard to not want to share that around my family and hard to not be with DH to share it with him.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk:  I'm really struggling today with the thought that we had what one would think was good timing but I don't want to get optimistic and over think things only to be let down in a huge way.  There was another poster who was just here in the TWW until this AM and they had just as good of timing as I did this month, so I guess this is where the "you only have a 20% chance" each cycle falls into play, even with good timing.  Blah.  Glad that there is a lot going on this week to hopefully keep my mind off it too much.

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why?   My sophmore year of college, my room mates and I drove from Minnesota to New Orleans for Mardi Gras.  One of my roomies mom's was going to be down there for a conference and she said if we could get down there, we could stay in the hotel room with her.  for us to fly it was going to be $1000 per person (way too much for broke college kids!) so we drove.  Crazy, crazy, crazy......and of the 3 of us that went, one of the other girls was NOT a good driver for road trips.  She gave up after an hour.  I also drove from Minnesota to Virginia when I moved because I needed my car and my clothes and my brother had everything else I was going to need (bed, towels, plates, etc).

@LittleMissTimeLord       I wouldn't discard today's temps.  The open circle does mean that FF doesn't like it, but usually its because the temp wasn't taken at the normal time or within a 30 min or so usually time frame of your usual time.  So that is exactly why it gave you an open circle.  Best wishes for everything tomorrow!!

@rkstro2        Can you attach your chart?

@housewifehobbyist       I'm not familiar enough with triphasic charts to comment on that, sorry.  I was just reading something online yesterday about when to take a HPT.***see below from infertility.about.com/od/infertilitytesting/bb/pregnancy_test.htm

It’s important to know that these tests assume a 14-day luteal phase. (That’s the time between ovulation and when you get your period.)If your luteal phase is usually 12 days, four days before your missed period would be 9 days after ovulation. Way too early to test.If you have a luteal phase of 15 days, though, 4 days before your missed period is 12 days after ovulation. You still may not have enough hormone that early, but you’ve got a much better chance than someone with a shorter luteal phase. But What About the 99% Accuracy? If you read the instructions carefully, they are promising 99% accuracy on the day of your missed period — and not for early results. If you expect your period on Wednesday, Thursday would be the day of your missed period. These promises of 99% accuracy, however, may not be true!In research studies, where they compared how much hCG the test claimed to detect and how much it actually detected, the tests were only 46% to 89% accurate. In one study, pregnancy tests, on average, indicated a positive result only 80% of the time on day 28 of the woman’s menstrual cycle.

  • Month/Cycle: 1/1  (Since deciding to TTC)

    CD/DPO: 22/8

    Timing: -5,-4, -3, -1, 0, +1

Testing Plans: I was hoping that I would have better willpower when it came to testing and be able to hold off till after AF(or at least close to) but we decided to start testing at 10DPO.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I'm really amazed by how excited DH is about all of this.  For a long time he felt like he didn't want to have kids, we talked alot about the reasons why and made sure that when we started TTC we were ready for that next step, but I wasn't sure how he was going to act once it was really happening.  It makes me so proud him.

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why?  We actually prefer to drive for most of our vacations so we regularly drive from Southwest Missouri to CA, AZ, TX, FL.  We both grew up in CA so we go back there alot.

@MNturnsVA unfortunately for people willing to help me I do not chart. I have "always" been regular pre birth control and post birth control. Of course until now :). If this continues with the no AF and continual BFN I may consider charting next cycle but I haven't wanted to because I have concerns that temping etc would put me over the edge with worry from day to day. So far this has been my most calm cycle with the least amount of worrying about BFP or not so just taking it day by day.

@rkstro2 - I can completely relate to this. I was always regular and had a standard 28 cycle, O'ed mid-way through. I wasn't going to temp bc I have horrible anxiety and was worried the temping may worsen my anxiety. However, after some timing issues this weekend, I'm now in the 2WW and I'm not even positive I O'ed. Now I'm going to spend the next 2 weeks obsessing! I'm thinking the temping would actually lessen my anxiety because at least I would know if/when I O'ed. GL to you!

    CD/DPO: 25/10

Timing: -5.. Not wonderful and I wasn't even going to post at all during the TWW but I wanted to answer the gtky lol

Testing Plans: none really unless AF is late... Maybe Saturday to be safe because we have a party planned

    Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk:
Timing has been rough this month between travel, DH being out of town and then having a man cold when he got back and me getting hit with it this weekend. Don't really trust my temps this weekend because I have been waking up with a stuffy nose and a sore throat. One day I was so stuffy when I woke up at 4:30 am and decided just to go ahead and temp. I couldn't even hold my mouth closed long enough to get a temp! I thought I might suffocate myself trying to temp lol. I am sure I was mouth breathing like a mofo.

Anyways, spotting this morning so wondering if AF is on the way. That's cool because that would make this a fairly normal cycle after BCP, though maybe with a luteal phase in the short side. Don't really have enough data to call that an issue that this point though.

As usual, chart attached for fun

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why?

Central Florida to Las Vegas in a suburban with 8 of my friends in college. We did it on the cheap to get to the national championship game so we drove straight through and just alternated drivers. Crazy fun trip but I think I have outgrown that phase of my life lol. I never want to drive I-10 again.

Also... My chart is attached twice and i can't seem to hit the delete button on mobile... So it's not a glitch in the matrix I'm just incompetent.

***Sort of TMI question for CM checkers***

    Month/Cycle:  2/2

    CD/DPO:  25/6

Timing:  all the fertile days, and EOD before that

Testing Plans:  Maybe tomorrow or Wednesday. AF is expected Friday, and I'm a weirdo that would rather see BFNs than see AF first...

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk:  TMI:  I checked CP/CM this morning, and wow, I don't think I've had this much CM when I've checked this entire cycle, or since I've started checking for that matter.  It was SO MUCH, and it was white-ish, faintly yellowish, and a lotiony, slightly clumpy texture. Sorry, this is so gross! I usually have pretty scant CM, even with checking internally. I am 99% certain it's not a yeast infection. Just bizarre. I thought CM was supposed to dry up after O?? Does anyone else have CM throughout their entire cycle?  It didn't look "normal" to me, but what is normal, anyway.

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why?  LA to Vegas and back. Not nearly as far as some people here! We usually fly for very long trips.

    And Congrats to @lunanova9 & @MsBeachNJ!  Fx @housewifehobbyist and @Sarafuss!

  • @MrsRo731     and   @rkstro2          I think personally the biggest thing that gives me or gave me anxiety is after O is actually confirmed.  Knowing that temps stay high if there is a BFP on the way makes it hard as the days of the TWW pass.  It is hard to WTO though too but once you have a few months under you belt, there starts to be a somewhat "normal" of the actual O date.  My first month was CD 18, my 2nd month was CD 20 and this month was CD 19.  So not a huge variance and I'm glad I had a better idea because it improved our timing for this month.  But all that said, I'm not even optimistic based on our timing but that is just because I really don't want a big let down.

I think the biggest things with temping are that consistency is key.  Make sure you are doing it at the same time everyday or as close too as possible and getting at least 3 hours of sleep is what is recommended.  And don't look into or over analyze any one temp.  I know, easier said than done.  and knowing what sorts of things may set off a "fluke" temp or an unexpected temp spike or something. For example, lots of women will see pretty significant temp spikes from drinking alcohol.

I do think it has probably caused some anxiety for me, I know it did last month in the TWW, but at the same time, I feel more confident at least knowing what is going on with my body and knowing that I didn't O one month and the only way I knew that was temping.

I am probably going to do it for Nov and Dec and may stop after that.  I had said I wanted to try it this way for 6 months to try to get an idea of what is going on and to have some sort of history of that to show a dr if necessary because the last thing I wanted was for a dr to ask me  a bunch of questions I had no answers too.  But, since I've been a member on here, I've also learned some docs put a lot of stock into your charts and others could care less.  So, who knows.  Good luck!!
  • Month/Cycle: 5/3

    CD/DPO: 28/5

    Timing: -3, -1

Testing Plans: Still thinking Oct. 30 since I'll be going out of town this weekend, even though it's too early. Then Nov. 3 since I have a doctor's appointment on Nov. 4. FF says not to test until 18 DPO since it doesn't have enough data yet (first month temping). But I'm sure I'll get AF by then.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: There was a dip in my chart today, but it wasn't below the cover line. I had to wake up an hour early today so I'm blaming it on that. FF gave it an open circle.

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why? Cheboygan, Mich. It's about 20ish hours from where I lived when I was a child. My grandparents lived there so my parents and I would drive up there every year. It's really beautiful up there. Other than that, I'm not fond of driving long distances.
  • @ashbear720 CM is supposed to dry up after O but maybe for just a day or two.  At least that's my experience.  I get creamy CM from about 2-3dpo to AF (or bfp!).  The increased progesterone gives you creamy CM.

  • Month/Cycle: 9

    CD/DPO: 25/7

    Timing: -3, -1, 0, 1

Testing Plans: Friday....it can't come soon enough!

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I'm heading down south for a work trip and am thankful that this should help keep my mind off the TWW anxiety.

I'm in the same boat as a few other women on today's thread - keeping my fingers crossed that the cramps don't smack me across my face in the next few days.

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why? We used to drive 18 hours to my grandparents for Christmas every year.

Congratulations to the two BFP today! Very exciting and keeps me optimistic.

    Month/Cycle: 4/4

    CD/DPO: 26/12

    Timing: -2 0 +1

Testing Plans: Friday or Saturday if temps stay up.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: I had a bit of a temp shift this morning which is unusual as they start going down about this time. My LP is 15/16 days. I had a BFN at 9 dpo and cried all day so I'm too scared to get another one. Do you think this looks positive?

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why? London to Scotland for a trip to see an old friend
  • Congrats to the BFP-ers and FX for nothing but good news all around tomorrow, @LittleMissTimeLord ! Hang in there, @MNTurnsVA. FX for you.

    Month/Cycle: 6/5

    CD/DPO: 25/11

Timing: not as good as I'd like

    Testing Plans: BFN this morning.

Rant/Rave/Chart Stalk: another BFN this morning and slight temp drop. I'm pretty sure I'm out. Just waiting for AF to arrive. Now wondering what to do next month, since this is the last month we could have gotten KU and had the baby before my new job starts. Contemplating going to NTNP rather than keeping up TTC, but I'm torn.

GTKY: What is the furthest you have driven and why? 10 hours, I think? For a convention for work. Also rode further to Disney Land, but I wasn't the one driving.
