So today I came in at 2cm 50% effaced to be induced bc of low fluid. They started a folley balloon and that was fine and crampy at first.now I'm getting horrible contractions and I'm ready for epidural lol. Has anyone had experience with the folley balloon? How long did it stay in ?

Yes. I did. But honestly I don't remember much cause they have me morphine before the epidural.

The folley balloon stays in until it falls out - most often when you are 4cm dilated, but it depends on how much the ballon was inflated. Good luck!
