OH's leave for when the baby comes started today, I'm working up until she is born (whenever that will be). He gets three weeks off. I'm 39 weeks and 4 days and hhonestly I'm worried that I won't have her on or even close to my due date and if that happens and I have to be induced OH will only have less than a week home with us.... Dr. Won't think about induction until 41 1/2 weeks... Any ideas on SAFE home induction techniques or ideas for how to convince Dr to induce?

I have been going for acupuncture appointments. They haven't worked yet but I have my third on Wednesday. After each appointment I have had a lot of BH contractions. I am 39/2 right now so I wasn't expecting them to work first try (although I was hopeful!) I have gone to 2 so far. I also found a recipe for 'labour inducing cookies' on Pinterest so I whipped up a batch of those, they are quite tasty even if they don't work! Walking, sex, exercise ball.... I wish you the best of luck! I'm sure if you are feeling at all like me you are beyond ready for this baby to evacuate!

Is it possible for him to go back to work and just wait for it to happen like you are and save his time for when he's actually needed?
