Evening Primrose Oil (awkward question)

So my OB suggested I start taking evening primrose oil, but didn't give instructions. I just bought the capsules and took one orally. I saw on here people are taking them both orally and vaginally... How do you take it vaginal? Do you use an actual oil? Or break the capsules?

I feel dumb asking, but I wasn't really told how to take it. The just suggested it since I'm almost 40 weeks and closed tight.

Poke a hole in it and insert it. Overnight only. Wear a pad or pantiliner.

You insert it as far up as you can. It needs to be close to your cervix to work!
