Earlier today I commented on the Friday Symptoms thread, saying that I just didn't have many symptoms, and the ones I did had seemed to be going away. I blithely wrote, "Well, if I were not pregnant anymore, I'm sure I'd have found out!"
Well, half an hour ago I saw the fainted hint of brown blood on the toilet paper, so I freaked out and took a HPT and.....it said "Not Pregnant."
This is all very puzzling, bizarre and sad. I was prepared for the possibility of a miscarriage, but I didn't know it would be in this order: First symptoms disappear, then negative test....no heavy bleeding yet.
I drank about a gallon of water and so part of me is clinging to the possibility that the test was simply a problem of diluted urine...but the real part of me knows what's up. Best of luck to you ladies, I truly enjoyed my short time here with you.
Re: Sad to say, NEGATIVE HPT test at 6 weeks 3 days pregnant

I am having the same thing happen to me. I'm 7w1d and my symptoms have tapered off this week....I experienced a MMC in June and the same thing had happened them. I told my DH this am and he told me not to get stressed out; but I called the dr today anyway and they are seeing me this afternoon to see what's going on. Am I silly for calling? I'm now in tears since telling him I'm going in- he said I'm making too much out of it and stressing myself out. What would you do? I was going to start a post but this one was already here...
1. Relax, it could be something, it could be nothing. Many women have spotting while pregnant with no issues going on.
2. Call your doctor, see if he/she can see you or at least tell you what to do.
3. Read up on the Hook Effect, it's real.
No worries! Hopefully this is just a scare and there's nothing wrong going on.
