So don't list your unpopular opinions as confessions.. Save them until next Thursday!

  • There are people who I know won't be involved in my child's life (because they make dangerous life choices and the only appear when the want something from me) but they offered to buy a swing, so I haven't brought up the whole "you're never going to be alone with my child or with them past the age of 3" thing yet. I know it's horrible, but the gift would really help our wallets!

  • I don't even think they are that great but I can't stop spending money at Starbucks. It feels like an addiction; I need my large 3 shot 4 honey skim latte every morning or I get really moody.
Also, Eveb though I go there everyday I refuse to say their nonsense terms for sizes. I go with small medium and large. I guess it's really a love hate relationship.

I'm having chocolate cake for breakfast. I brought an english muffin but a coworker made a cake so... obviously it was meant for breakfast. I may have seconds :)

    That's sounds so good!
  • I've been awake since 8:15 but am just getting out of bed now (9:55). It's my day off, and I have a really hard time getting myself motivated to do anything. Ugh. And then I regret it because I feel like I've wasted the whole day. And then (I feel like) H hates me because I don't do anything around the house. It's a viscous cycle.
  • Had a pudding Cup for dessert yesterday..to go with my whole can of whipped cream. It was fat free whipped cream atleast! ***shame***

Also i absolutely refuse to give up my daily morn cup of coffee despite the comments and looks I get. Can a girl live?

I popped it in the microwave too for 15 seconds and it made the chocolate chips all goooey... Mmmmm.
  • I drink my morning coffee out of a little cup so I can have two cups of coffee every morning.
  • I've used the fact that I haven't been gaining weight as an excuse to eat whatever the hell I want. I figure if my weight catches back up then I'll start being super careful but at my last Dr appointment. I still was at the same weight as my first appointment, which was 10 pounds below my prepregnancy weight. We'll see what it says on Thursday!
  • I ate Oreos and milk for dinner twice this week.

I'm so this way right now! I lost a lot of weight in the 1st trimester from being sick all the time and I've only gained a few pounds back. I know I'll start gaining it back these last few months so I do have to watch out but lately it's been a food free for all lol

I did this too! I lost 23 pounds and then after I had my appendix removed I still wasn't gaining weight, and then it all hit me out of no where. Technically, I should've gained 15 pounds from the weight I was before I lost 23 pounds, right?! ;)
  • @Monkeybutt80 I am over the PSL craze but their toasted graham latte is good. I talk myself out of the $5 by going to wawa for Irish cream coffee instead lol

@paytonpedro that's my life every day. I get up around 9, let the dogs out and catch up on all my social media for like 2 hours. Then get up and rotate to sofa to eat and watch my show... Eventually around 12 the day (might) get started. Lol I work nights so I use that as my excuse

Totally feel y'all on the weight. I lost 11lbs and have only gained 4 back. I'm mixing healthy and bad pretty dang freely lol
  • @dragonfly321 I feel like I waste the whole day, but I have no desire to move. I call it a win if I shower and have dinner ready when H gets home. Lol

honey skim latte? That sounds delicious, I'm going to have to try that next time I go!
ETA: I also refuse to use their terms for size. I say how many ounces I want

  • Ha! I refuse to say the special snowflake sizes too. Glad to know I'm not the only one; I don't want to be a hater but why can't it just be "small, medium or large"?

  • I just bribed my 3 1/2 year old with cake if he'd let me clip his fingernails. He's been so resistant with everything lately and I didn't feel like dealing with a meltdown. It worked like a charm lol! It's only 10:30 in the morning though. Oops. Maybd I'll have some too lol!
I bribe my daughter out of the bath with painting her nails, and the only way we get to do that is also trim them. Win for all of us? lol
  • @monkeybutt80 I refuse to say the names of their sizes, too.  We're not in Italy.  If the barista can't pronounce "cafe au lait" properly, I shouldn't have to say the Italian names of their sizes.  I absolutely hate it when I say "I'll have a medium" and they correct me.

  • My daughter will let me clip her nails as long as she gets her nails painted and gets to pick the color.

I'm eating all the food, but that's not new.

Confession: whenever a stranger comments on my pregnancy, I'm so tempted to say "what do you mean?" And pretend I'm not pregnant. People need to learn that it's rude to comment on the size of a total stranger's body!

I do this a lot. My students know I'm pregnant and have told the rest of the student body, but whenever a kid I don't know says something about it, I like to mess with them. I'm so mean.
  • Basically, everyone and thing is getting on my nerves today. Confessing to try and come to terms and get over it before I bite someone's head off! The fact that it's Friday should help, but I leave for a work conference tomorrow that goes all week and is a 6 hour drive to get there (will be on the hunt for compression socks at lunch). On top of that, the conference hotel was booked when I registered so I'm 1/2 mile from the hotel which I should be glad for the 'required' daily exercise, but I'm seething over it because it's suppose to rain and I have yet to find a maternity raincoat. Also confessing...I'm a bag of complaints today. Ugh!

    Edit: spelling

Hey you gotta do what you gotta do! My nephew would only allow his fingers and toenails to be trimmed if it was done at a nail salon and they used to paint his nails bright orange because he loved anything that had to do with construction. A couple years ago he was at some community event where there was a bounce house and some little boy was laughing at him because his nails were painted and my nephew got right in his face and screamed as loud as he could, "it's safety orange!" and ran away. It was hilarious.

That is SO cute and funny! I love it! Oh these toddlers. They're sure good for a laugh sometimes! :D

Well, when I was a barista I could (and still can) pronounce AND make it, but I would never acknowledged their stupid size names. They aren't even right when translated!
I worked at Panera where we had regular or large.

If it's through work, why didn't they handle the booking? (I know very little about work travels, so this is a legitimate question)
  • Today was the one day I brought my lunch and snacks to work (mostly because I finally cleaned out our fridge last night and went grocery shopping to basically replace everything I threw out), and I have already eaten all my snacks I alloted for the day, and the can of soup I brought for lunch is not sounding appealing since I'm craving a cheese burger..Oh, and it's not even noon yet.

It wouldn't be where I work. They will book and pay for the conference registration as long is it's within our allotment but we have to arrange and pay for all travel and lodging and we'll be reimbursed if we have any money left in the amount of continuing education money we're allowed to ask for.

  • I've used the TV (Mickey mouse clubhouse, to be exact) to entertain my DD FAR too much on my days off this week. I feel guilty, but I needed to get stuff done around the house!

I haven't been exercising consistently and my (easy paced) walk today had me breathing heavy. Could be do to the weather and my asthma, but being so lazy the past few months definitely has something to do with it. :/

  • My parents left at noon with DD for the weekend. We have an "adult" wedding tomorrow and they're visit relatives. So instead of getting stuff done and cleaning I went straight to my room, put on comfy pants, took a nap, watched tv(that wasn't disney) and ate a cupcake. It's almost 4 and I'm still here but need to get ready because hubby it taking my out for dinner. Oh and I let my dog and my parents dog on my bed....☺️
I don't regret my decisions for today at all. I did at least go to a work meeting and Chiro this morning.

I use Mickey Mouse and Disney waaaay too much and waaay more than I did before becoming pregnant with number 2. I also have Mickey playing in my cars DVD player

I just pull the plug on the tub and let it drain till DD gets out. She lets me cut her nails but lately insists I need to cut the dogs nails and DHs nails. Don't worry I only cut the dogs nails
  • I think I'm combing the fact that I couldn't eat anything substantial for about 10 weeks thanks to nausea and that I know I'm going to change my diet and work out like a crazy person once baby is born as an excuse to eat stuff I really like and lots of it....

Maybe everytime I eat a cookie or a bag of ritz toasted sour cream and onion chips I should pin a work out or healthy recipe on my Pinterest.
  • While groccery shopping today I got Rocky Road ice cream. This is worse because DH hates marshmellow so I'll get the entire tub to myself =)
    I am 27, DH is 26.
We have been married since September 28, 2013.
We had our first child, Zoey, February 7, 2016.
