I just read this and thought I would share.  For the FTMs, you might want to stick this somewhere for later.  The other STMs with 2-3-4 year olds might really appreciate this.  As the parent of a soon-to-be 3 year old, the talking back really hits home.  Hopefully I can use some of these instead of "I told you not to X!"

I know there are mixed opinions on the "Bringing up Bebe" book, but it does expand more on this concept of establishing some general boundaries, then giving a child choices and independence within those boundaries.

I enjoy hanging out with other people's toddlers, but knowing that we'll soon be parenting our own feels so daunting!
