Fluid in uterus?!?!?

Hi ladies! This morning I went in for my 6 weeks u/s. We have a heartbeat and an appropriately sized GS! So thankful! However, they mentioned seeing some fluid in my uterus. They said they can't be certain if its blood or another type of fluid, but that they will be keeping an eye on it. Has anyone else been told this? Of course they told me not to worry and that in many cases this fluid can be reabsorbed as the baby grows. Not worrying seems impossible though! I was also given progesterone suppositories to help things along 'chemically'. I should mention that I'm being seen by an infertility specialist so I'm not sure if any of this would be considered 'nothing to worry over' had I not had multiple miscarriages and great difficulty TTC. So far, I've not had any bleeding/spotting/unusual cramping so I'm trying to remain hopeful... Plus, those early signs of pregnancy are in full swing! I have had a little bit of a watery clear discharge (TMI, I know) but didn't think anything of it since I've read that could be completely normal. Anyway, any advice would help! I wish all of you a blessed pregnancy!

  • That's kind of scary...but if they said not to worry and you don't have any signs of miscarriage then there's probably nothing to worry about! Sorry I don't have any experience with that. FX for you and your baby!

  • I don't remember the name but it's something like subchorionic hemorrhage that is fairly common and is reabsorbed. Maybe that's what it is? When a Doctor doesn't seem concerned try not to be concerned!

  • When they seen fluid in my uterus they suspected I had a cyst that burst. It was nothing to be concerned about.
