I went to bathroom last night and wiped and had a faint light brownish light pinkish blood it wasn't much but I'm worried is it normal to bleed I wiped from morning pee this am and nothing was there??? Praying I'm not having m/c don't know signs of having one hoping nothing is wrong ...help?? I can't see doc til Nov. 12th for firat visit and ultrasound

Lol no, spotting is normal. The only time you need to start worrying is if there's lots of bright red blood and/or clots. You're fine.

From everything I've been told, light spotting can be normal throughout pregnancy. If it's light and lasts less than a few hours, it's not much to be concerned about and something you can mention at your next appt. If it's bright red, heavy, lasts longer or accompanied by cramps, you should see your doctor. 

The light spotting you describe could also be attributed to being intimate with your SO. This happens to me every time H and I have sex.

Haven't had sex with dear hubby ... which is weird because I usually want it all the time but since pregnant I haven't wanted it.. not sure why thank you so much for ur info helped me calm down a little ;;)

I'm 6w3d and had some brown discharge last night and again this morning. It hasn't been enough or red enough to warrant a call to my doctor, but I feel your pain in freaking out! Dr. Google can help or hurt, but I just keep telling myself that if it is a miscarriage, there's nothing they can do this early, and the powers that be will be. Relaxing, drinking water, and taking it easy are all that I can do...and maybe indulging in something for lunch that'll cheer me up

I had the same in my second pregnancy (first was a m/c) and my doctor gave me progesterone suppositories and the bleeding stopped and I had a normal pregnancy

I am currently 6w6d and have been spotting since I found out I was pregnant. I freaked out the first time. I went to to the bathroom and wiped...finding mucousy bloody discharge. I immediately called the after hours care for my fertility cllinic (we underwent IVF) and they called me back. Their procedure is that the blood has to be filling a pad in under an hour and bright red. If it is tinged pink or brown....it is considered spotting. Another cause of my spotting is the vaginal progesterone suppositories I am taking. It irritates the cervix, which is in the process of growing and thickening...and already generally irritated. It took me a week to really get that if I am not bleeding heavily, having double-over'd cramping, then I am probably okay. I still make sure to wear a panty liner so I can monitor the color and amount of spotting during the day. I still have my moments...but yesterday we had our first ultrasound and it was perfect. Baby's heart rate is at 118bmp and he/she was doing well.
