I've been trying to have a smoothie for breakfast...I found some great ones for pregnancy on Pinterest. But, it hasn't been going well. I can't seem to get past the texture & get so grossed out. My back up is cereal or PB toast (toast has to be pretty crunchy...I'm loving all things with a crunch right now).
I do smoothies as well, easy on the stomach and they fill me up... I have a recipe for a chocolate, peanut butter and banana, and also one with blueberry, banana and Greek yogurt... So good for you too!
I'm not grossed out by food yet, but things are starting to taste blander for some reason. I had a breakfast taco this morning along with a cup of orange juice. OJ is something I added once I was pregnant for all the good vitamins and folate it has; I'm not a fan of it otherwise.
When I feel like butts I'll have a smoothie made with chocolate milk (protein!), frozen banana and PB2 powder.
If I'm feeling ok I'll have a blueberry bagel slaaaaathered in cream cheese. For some reason I can't get enough cream cheese. I don't normally love that stuff so much!!
-oatmeal and spinach smoothy -ww toast with avocado and nonfat Greek yogurt -scrambled eggs with zucchini and half a banana on the side -homemade granola
I'm going to try PB toast. I have a hard time finding something that's appealing too, OP. I usually just force myself to eat something. Maybe some strawberries or pineapple.
...couldn't manage to eat anything for breakfast this morning.
Normally I have a fiber one protein bar but I recently discovered that my morning nausea is better if I eat something hot so I've been having easy mac (hangs head in shame) prolly should switch to oatmeal or toast
I've been doing a fortified whole grain cereal like shredded wheat or a protein bar (mm chocolate brownie cliff bars). I'm struggling to get enough protein in my diet. Pre-pregnancy I did a lot of eggs for breakfast (scrambled, omlettes and such) but now just thinking about eggs... ugh.
I've also been trying to do a yogurt with a decent amount of protein as my after breakfast snack.

I always eat plain Greek yogurt with almonds and berries, but I can't handle the acid in either the yogurt or berries right now. I've been eating steel cut oats with almonds and raisins and/or apples. Made the mistake of throwing some raspberries in this morning and I am definitely paying for it.
Greek yogurt with a banana and orange juice has been my favorite. Peanut butter toast and juice. Is another go to. I really can't stand the thought of scrambled/ over hard eggs. But hard boiled eggs are a winner with toast and juice.
I do a Nutella & Banana shake, with vanilla almond milk. So good!! I used to add protein powder & chia seeds, but have been leaving those out bc I'm not sure if that's OK yet.
I have soy yogurt, a cup of OJ, and half a bagel with PB. I don't always get to the bagel, depends on how hungry I am and how much time I have.... I found some "healthy" blueberry muffin and banana bread recipes, might make those this weekend.

I've been eating a lot of mini bagels lately (which I know isn't ideal - but what ever, I'm eating!) My last pregnancy I ate a lot of PB&J sandwiches or egg sandwiches but eggs are grossing me out right now.
I also love eating leftovers for breakfast, but then I don't have anything to eat for lunch.
I usually just eat a muffin on the way to work but I really like eating toast with either nutella or jiff chocolate peanut butter whip. On the weekends its usually pancakes because that's what dd asks for.
January Siggy Challenge: Why I don't shop at Walmart
Love this post! I've been rotating between scrambled eggs with salsa, toast with coconut oil and peanut butter, organic steel cut oats with cinnamon and blackberries, or a berry/spinach smoothie.

Once the nausea is subsided I'm good with more variety.
Scrambled eggs and salsa were a thing for a few days.
Honey shreddies were also a must have a couple days.
