I had to go into target and ask for the goodie bag since I registered online. It had a bottle, a pacifier, coupons and samples in it. Babies R Us also gave me a goodie bag for registering with them, but the target bag was better.
Publix has a baby club that you can sign up for before the baby is born. You get a book about baby milestones as well as coupons each month. The coupons were pretty good and I believe there were some for free stuff when I had it for my son.
Also, I got a lot of really good coupons from Enfamil (formula) I think from something I signed up for in the hospital. I let a lot expire because we had plenty of breast milk, but this time I plan to check expiration dates and stock up for supplementing in the future.
Yes go into target and ask for the goodie bag if you didn't receive it. Motherhood Maternity is a maternity clothing store. They will give you a goodie bag when you purchase something. You can also sign up for a magazine subscription through them that has coupons in it.
There's a welcome box from Amazon if you register with them and have $100 worth of stuff bought off the registry. I ended up just registering for stuff I knew I was going to buy anyway from amazon then using that towards the $100. Mine had some samples, bottle, pacifier and a full size thing of their wipes. Pretty good deal.

Woo alright here we go. Walmart has a trimester box full of free stuff but you do need to pay 5 dollars shipping and handling. I also got a free year membership to Sam's club- not sure if that promo is still going on. Babies R Us, Buy Buy Baby, Target, and Amazon all have registry goodie bags- if they don't give them simply ask. There's an awesome website www.thesavvybump.com which flags all discounted baby stuff that's happening online and in stores: including free kindle books. They also have a freebie page.
You can join Enfamil and Symalic and they have sent me 3-4 sample formulas throughout my pregnancy: just register on thier site. Gerber has a printable coupon that you can get a goodie bag after labor when you present it to your hospital. If you scan Babies R Us they usually have a free sippy cup or pacifier or something when you buy 10$ worth of merchandise. Likewise they do free classes and parties during the month that you can go and get freebies at. Subscriptions will also give freebies like the Honest company but you need to pay shipping (usually 5$) BUT you NEED to cancel your subscription or 7 days after they will charge you! Important!
For clothes you can join Gymboreee and Carters and they'll send you a 20% off coupon daily, as will buybuy Baby monthly should you register with them.
Past that I just emailed or wrote to companies asking for samples such as Lasinoh and HoneySuckle.
