I feel like my choice to still trust my OB and proceed with the Clomid is being questioned. I apparently broke several rules even posting this thread and just have received some hateful messages. There have been a few good messages and supportive comments. So we'll see...
Your gif was the first. And then just everyone saying that I was ignoring the suggestions. I called my OB and brought up the things you guys mentioned. I said she was a specialist and I had discussed some of these with her but I still felt like I was being reprimanded for that choice. I have no family to discuss this with so these boards are all I have support wise. See why I'm feeling like you all believe I'm making the wrong decisions even though my gut says to trust my OB?

You can't tell tone over the internet. You weren't being reprimanded, you were being warned. If you, with full knowledge of what dangers you are risking, decide to continue with your OB then so be it. I would expect friends and family to tell you the same things if they were aware of the situation and dangers involved.
Well Then that was my misunderstanding. My friends and family arent aware of any of this so they are no help. Its just me and my husband because the first few we told that we were having issues made some rude comments about how our children wouldn't be natural if I had to take any medication. We do not want negativity surrounding what should be a happy time so none of them even know our current option.

What a disgusting thing for your friends and family to say. I'm sorry they said something like that to you.
I know you trust your OB-- but it's not about the quality of his care as much as his skill set. However, it's been explained very eloquently by previous posters. You seem set on this plan & I really hope it works out for you without compromising your health forever. I mean that sincerely.
The horror stories I've seen friends on the internet go through because they desperately wanted to trust their OB-- well, many could never have children later because their uterine lining was so thin it couldn't sustain a pregnancy. Others lost ovaries & Fallopian tubes.
That's permanent & irreversible. You never know if that one in give will be you.
Yes... Very disgusting of my so called family to say those rude things. Hence why these boards and sites are my only type of support other than my husband.
@letyourheartbeyourguide I have lpd and all the latest research supports using clomid, estradiol, and progesterone. The problem is my corpus lutem cannot support a pregnancy because it stops working and does not get the message to keeping pumping out progesterone. The purpose of my clomid Rx is to possibly produce a better quality follicle that could keep working.
ChelseyE1414 , I'm gonna say go ahead and go with your gut and trust your doc! Nobody on this board has a medical degree as far as I can tell! And some of them are being pretty rude to boot!

OP's gut doesn't have a medical degree either.
Besides, no one is attempting to give specific medical advice. People are giving honest information about Clomid, risks surrounding it, and the potential issues with taking it under the care of an OB.

You don't know everyone's profession. Keep that in mind. Also, who are you? You just joined October 1. Its not very nice to go calling board regulars rude.

@ChelseaE141 please don't leave the community! I've been here for a few weeks and yes, there are a few women on here who enjoy coming online to be rude, but the majority of the people on here are wonderful. And yes, they all expect you to read everything and learn your way around first, even though I think that's a bit silly. Chin up and welcome!!
@PrimRoseMama, first of all my comment wasn't directed at you. The original poster was obviously distressed by the attitude she was getting from one certain poster (not you) and was thinking about leaving the community. Second of all, I've been posting here for weeks, it's not my fault if you haven't read my posts.

You joined October first...that's literally 3 weeks of posting opportunity. I say this with as much politesse as possible-- you're new. You don't know what you don't know yet.
You made blanket statements about the board in general, dear. It's not a positive, helpful or constructive way to begin to communicate with the community. Does that make sense?
